To c section or not
So long story short our girl is once again breach. My midwife has given me some exercises to do to try to flip her but has also given me the options of scheduling a c section around 39 weeks or wait until I go into labor and hope she has flipped. If not then it will be an emergency c section. If I wait until labor then I have a good chance hubby won't be here for the birth since he works almost 3 hours away. (That was a chance regardless if I had vaginal too) they said since this is my fifth pregnancy and my muscles aren't as tight as they use to be I have a good chance of her flipping breach again if they try turning her. I have to give my midwife my answer soon and I just don't know what to do

If I were in your situation I would do the exercises to see if they work. And if they didn't I would probably opt for a scheduled c-section.

I would schedule a c section to avoid conflicts with the birth.

I would do the exercises and then at 39 weeks if it hasn't done the job schedule the c section

Do the miles circuit! Google it :) Also look up spinning babies.
See a chiropractor. My baby was transverse from week 22-35 and turned at 35 weeks sudden after chiropractic care for a month.
Personally, I'd avoid a c section unless my life depended on it.

This is my 4th pregnancy and baby has been head down for weeks. Unless baby has been flipping back and forth, then I don't know you can generalize that since its your fifth, she can easily flip.
Having had 2 vaginal births and an emergency c section, I would avoid a c section if possible.
Wondering if you labor super quickly? Would your husband not be able to drive back before you go to the hospital? I have always labored many hours before baby. I would be so sad if my husband missed such an important moment in our lives.
Not really sure how an emergency c section compares to a scheduled one, which I will have this time since my emergency c was a classical one, but I would pose this question in the c section group.

I can't imagine doing any of this without hubby so if you were me I would choose a scheduled section.

Thank you ladies for your opinion. My labored only normally last 3-4 hours so I hubby missing it is a huge possibility. She has been flipping back and forth a lot lately (being based on where I feel her movements). Right now she seems to be pretty content with being breach. I figured I will see what position she is in on Tuesday at my midwife apt and go from there. I have been doing the exercises but doesn't seem to be making a difference with her position. Since I normally have all natural vaginal births I'm not thrilled of the idea of a c section. But it's seeming it may be for the best lately.
