Gender swaying
I was talking to a couple ladies before about gender swaying and have swayed with two pregnancies so far. The first was for a boy and this time was for a girl.
I used ovulation test along with a period app. We bedded day of ovulation and kept hips elevated for 45 min and then again the next night.
Kaitlyn1 my girl pregnancies are crazy emotional too. I don't even want to be around myself but growing up as the only girl I hated it and didn't want to do that to my daughter so we swayed for our current girl. I wish I would have heard of the possible swaying of twins. We both have them in our families and being 32 and 5th pregnancy I was hoping for twins
3/3 so far. :) once we had our first boy, which is what we swayed for, we figured a second boy would be cool, bestest buds, all that, and then #3 thought we'd like a girl and sure enough. This time we swayed for another boy (my girl pregnancy was very emotional roller coastery lol) and I use cassava root for like 6 months before ttc to sway for twins as well just for... Fun? (They run in my family anyway, plus nursing, plus overweight, plus 4th pregnancy, etc), no idea if we are having a boy... Or twins (we obviously know chances are slim there, no 50/50 chance like boy/girl swaying lol and will be in love with whomever is in there!) I'm 9 weeks and it's been a bit different then my boys and a lot different then my girl pregnancies in many ways, including testing positive 3-4 days earlier then with the others. Anyway hopefully we will start seeing our midwife soon, gender at least will be a surprise at birth.
We did basically what the ladies above described, I was nursing a baby every time after the first so also used some cheap opks so I had a better idea of when I ovulated since nursing can throw it off. We apparently get pregnant our second month trying Every time, so I figure out on month 1 for sure when I ovulate (only month 1 cause it's usually one of my first cycles postpartum anyway), then apparently by month 2 we rock the baby making thing. :) I did try, not super diligently, to drink more milk for boys, more orange juice for girl, no idea if it helped, but that's what I did.
When we started trying for a boy, we would make sure to have sex on or just after ovulation. Also my husband started wearing looser underwear (went from the boxer briefs he wore since we first started trying for babies to loose boxers) because he read that keeping the testicles cooler helped produce more male sperm. Or something like that! He is the one who did all the research, lol. We weren't super diligent about the timing after a few months, but eventually we did end up with a boy (our first four are girls). Hubby still wears the loose underwear now, and we are expecting a second boy in December.
Gender swaying is when you do certain things during ovulation time to get either a girl or boy.
For us I always track ovulation with my period app and ovulation test to make sure both are accurate. You could even add taking basal temp every morning but I was never dedicated to that.
For our boy we only bedded day of ovulation and day after. After each time I laid with hips elevated. (Since boys swim faster they get to the egg first but die sooner)
For our girl we only bedded two to three days before ovulation. It took us 4 months before we got our positive. (Girls swim slower but live longer)
I know there are some that say you can change your and your partners diet to help increase the odds but hubby would never go for that.
Gender swaying
Anyone else going to try to sway? We have swayed the past two pregnancies and plan on it this time too.
Successful gender sways...have any of you ladies swayed for a curtain gender and get it. I'm swaying for a girl..all and any tips help.
GENDER POST! ??????
Alright mommas for everyone whose going to be finding out gender sometime in November or later..lets get a post going and keep each other updated. And for everyone who has already found out post below what you thought you were going to have and what you are actually having! ?
@boymom123, when are you finding out the gender ???
earliest you found out the babys gender?
This is the first time we actually tracked ovulation and had hopes of getting a boy. However i ovulated early, and although we were trying to avoid pregnancy for another month I am pregnant. And it's most likely a girl. Unless he had a little swimmer that stuck it out and lived a while longer.
