Doppler question

I was using my Doppler yesterday morning and had something strange happen. Up front of my belly I found a nice strong loud heartbeat in the 130. And then on the other side I found another heartbeat softer sounding in the 150-160

My dr told me when that happens it my doppler reading my placenta which is usually between my heartbeat and babies heartbeat. If baby is 160 and mine is 100 than the 130 is my placenta! I hope that helps.

Could be it blood flow? For me, around ten weeks I thought what I was hearing was a heart beat but my doctor quickly spoke up before I got excited and let me know it was just the blood flow lol

You may have picked up your placenta

I've got a few arteries that are in the 130s down there. One in the very center, and two on either sides. I can tell it's not baby though because it doesn't sound the same. My baby's heart beat sounds like a gallop and it's in the 150-160 range. It could also be an echo.

I asked my Dr about this the other day as it happened to me she said there are certain positions baby can be in to make it sound slwer or as others said it could be an artery.

It could have been the artery or an echo too..my baby seems to hide under the artery every time so I always get an echo and never get an accurate heartbeat number. But- with that being said, my family has many twins that "hid" behind the other.

It could possibly be just an echo
