My brother has had MS since he was 16 years old. He literally went from being fine one hour, to not being able to walk the next. It was scary! He spent a month in children's hospital trying to determine a diagnosis. He was wheelchair bound, then had a lift system we used in the home. He also lost his vision and is experiencing kidney issues, unfortunately. BUT!! he no longer relies on his wheelchair and can walk without assistance of a walker/cane now. He's a little stiff in walking, but he gets around on his own. ❤
