THIS Girl Doesn't!

Dd is 3.5 years old. She was at the beach this weekend with her dad. When he dropped her off Sun evening he told me: "She laid down the law today".

I told my ds to pee in the lake shortly after he was potty trained. He actually went out of the water and whipped it out and peed into the edge water. I was horrified but couldnt help but laugh. I was always sure to be VERY specific when telling him sonething after that.

Haha we have been dealing with this for a couple years. My daughter gets offended when we suggest it or acts like it's a punishment of some sort. Lol

Lol we tried to get my 3 year old to go in the ocean and she informed us, "Mama, that's nasty. That's not right, yellow water goes in the potty." And that was that. You can't argue with toddler logic!

I wouldn't step foot in the ocean if I was paid. I am terrified of open water like that.

But good for your daughter! That's freaking adorable!

Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

Dd was hysterical when he left

Dd was hysterical when he left And it broke my heart. Her dad dropped her off tonight from his weekend and she wouldn't let go of him. He made no effort to help and I had no idea she was that strong. I had to peel her off him as she tried her best to hold on and she cried and screamed. He left and she just kept crying for him. Changed her diaper (he dropped her with it leaked through her pants) she was still crying for him. Tears streaming screaming DaDa over and over. I was crying too. I hate seeing her that upset. 5 - 10 min after he left when I was cuddling her and comforting her she finally stopped crying. It was probably 30 - 40 min after he dropped her off that she was finally normal and not clingy.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
