Im in ohio too. I know a ton of people who buy them and do their own displays. You're not really allowed but the cops don't really do anything about it either.

My neighborhood is outside city limits so as soon as the tents open, my neighbors are shooting them. Every night for a week now ?

I don't live far from there at all! We do red white and blue ash every year. It's not until Tuesday this year so we'll be mooching off of our neighbors fireworks display. As long as it's not past 1am I understand it's a once a year thing. These fools the next street over like to set off random fireworks through out the night for the next week ? now they're the ones I wanna strangle.

They do a big thing here called red white and blueash but I doubt it's to the level of Columbus. Our big fireworks show is usually the WEBN fireworks in September. I wake up at 4am every year to go reserve a spot down on the Ohio River, it's worth it though!

I hate the sound of fireworks, luckily only the ground/fountain ones that dont make a lot of noise are legal in New York, though people do drive South to buy the loud ones ?

We have a really good show here in Columbus. Red white and boom. Traffic is crazy but it's worth it.

I live in Ohio as well, near kings island. Everyone around us just drives over to Indiana and buys them. But living between Cincinnati and Dayton there are so many FREE firework shows! Why must you light your own into the wee hours of the night ?

In Ohio it's illegal to use them but you can still buy them. ? have you ever looked how expensive they are?? Holy hell!!

Luckily fireworks are illegal in my town, but there are always dummies that end up firing of guns on the 4th.

Not right now...storms just passed through. But I'm sure fireworks and unfortunately gun fire will be going off for the next few days. I don't understand it and can't stand it. My very sensitive 2 year old gets scared easily and my 1 year old is a light sleeper. Ugh
