My grandma would make me gargle salty warm water for a soar throat. A warm can of coke to help stomach aches. Mints to help with headaches and nausea. All I can really think of right now but I know there's more. Lol

Ginger works! Nobody wants to take my advice but God has every herb and root we need for medicine. Ginger is amazing you buy the root at the grocery store boil a small piece because it's so powerful I mean small like the size of a quarter. And thin cut the bigger the piece the stronger your drink. Drink it hot you will be fine in 2 days. I also give it to the kids and they're hardly ever sick.

And adding honey makes it taste so amazing

My BILs grandma swears that at the first sign of any sickness, you eat a whole lemon. Peel it like an orange and eat it. I've never tried it, but I've seen everyone around him (including myself) sicker than dogs and Hes always fine.

Nope, my mom was a "take an Advil" kinda mom.

We use quite a few natural methods/remedies around here though.

My mom used to give us a warm bath then make us go outside barefoot and drink an Advil with a shot of hot tea anytime we were getting sick, she would make us put socks on and stay in bed for the rest of the night. She swears it made it go away.

My dad was a vicks vapor rub kind of guy. Stuffy? Vicks. Headache? Vicks. Upset stomach? Vicks. Cough? Vicks. Relationship not working out? Vicks. Behind on your car note? Vicks. Lol

Every time I start to get sick my mom tells me to drink lots of water and take my vitamins lol. Oh, and drink oj. But my mom seriously thinks water cures everything lol. Headache..."drink some water" ...."i don't feel good" ... "because you're dehydrated drink some water" ?
