Buying a home is stressful
I know we financially can't get our dream house. It's just not in our cards, and that's okay. Updating a kitchen or bath, completely doable; putting in new wood floors or tearing out wood paneling, I'm okay with that too. But for the love of everything holy can every house not have something crazy wrong with it. We looked at a house today and I s*** you not I thought I was going to fall through the floor. When we went into the basement you could clearly see two broken floor beams right were the floor sunk down a good 6 inches on me. I was really hoping to be in a new home by the time I have my little girl in April but it's just seeming less and less likely. ? This exciting, scary journey is getting less exciting and just more scary.

Yes, it is stressful! I just move into my first home two days ago... it's been a rollercoaster to get to this point.
We put an offer on 3 or 4 houses before we finally went through with buying one.
Now, I don't want to move for a long, long time!

We went through the same thing. There was one house that was for sale that my husband kept telling me to consider. I refused. The walls were ugly as hell. There was wood paneling. The kitchen was tiny. I wouldn't budge.
And then it was getting closer and closer to my due date (I was also due in a April at the time). I finally caved and said I would go see the house with him. It was on the cutest street ever, but the inside left a lot to be desired. The color of the walls totally turned me off. Bright pink. Red. Orange. IT WAS HIDIOUS. And did I mention wood paneling?
We bought the damn thing. ? we closed on the house March 12 and I spent the next ten days working my pregnant ass off to paint every single room to make it as cute as possible even though I thought it was impossible. I got it done! I had no vision for my house, but I made it work and I adore it. The kitchen is still tiny and the house needs some updates, but it's our first home and I love it. I'm glad my husband made me go see it even though I refused.
The closer I approached my due date, the more motivated I was to find a home. It was last minute, but we were able to close on it and move in before my due date. Hopefully it works out for you as well!!!

Yes!!!!! Lol we wanted a move in ready and ended up with a fixer upper! I swear to you it looked like a bunch of druggies lived there! However it was in the location we wanted, foundation was still new, it was all cosmetic!
We still have more to do but that's all in our future plans :)

I can't even imagine. We bought a brand new home and just going through that process was brutal let along having to fix things!
