I'm freaking the eff out right now. I baby the hell out of my teeth because I have been without dental insurance for so many years. I only had one tiny cavity when I was like 12. Long story short, my dad lost his job when I was 15 and I haven't been to the dentist since because my job doesn't offer dental. That was 8 years ago. I'm sure there is so much hidden damage to my teeth. I'm just so embarrassed that it's been 8 years. I know most people think that's gross, so do I!! My apt is in an hour. I'm so effing nervous. I know this rant is everywhere but so is my brain... ????

I know people who have dental insurance and haven't been in longer... All that matters is that you're going in now! Good luck. :)

I didn't go to the dentist for 10 years.... no cavities and she said they looked great.

My parents took us once that I can recall around 13-14 years old. I had four cavities. I didn't go back until I was 19, when I had money to pay for my own appt. I didn't have any cavities. So you may be okay. You won't know until you go. ?
