please I need help understanding some lyrics of a song in English!
In english class, my niece got assigned a song, she has to listen to it and write down the lyrics. She did a pretty good job for most of it (thanks to Google I'm pretty sure?) but she is missing little bits of it. She doesn't speak English fluently but is doing her best to learn, the teacher was very clear about the importance of handing the assignment with the all song! Does anyone have 5 minutes to help please?! Thanks!
Guess I’m the odd one out. Even though I find the song off-putting, it is a college class designed for adults. I also think music is a huge part of any culture. Bluegrass and hip hop play an important role in certain regions, communities, and demographics. Not sure why this particular song was chosen though. There are so many other rap songs with substance that would’ve been a better representation of hip hop culture.
Glad I could help ✌️ Yeah I had a class in a similar nature where the prof would just talk about the awesome anthropology book he wrote and give extra points to all the hot girls in class. Such a perv and weirdo. Hated that class so much and barely any of the topics were ever covered in class. I seriously should’ve just skipped it and read the textbook instead lol
@cenedra no site gives the entire song ? it's actually the only smart point I can give to her teacher! He managed to find a song impossible to entirely find online... but all is good @ocean saved me and found the 4 missing lines! (I had to listen to it at least 50+ times ? it was driving me crazy..)
Thanks to all the ones worrying but nothing can be done.. My nièce is in high school but she is taking an extra course at out local college, it's on "American civilisation" so he pretty much can talk about whatever he wants as long as it has something to do with American culture...
I know the guy it's a 30 yo American from new York ( I live in europe) and he feels like students complaining are not trying to understand "American people".... there is so many freat topics they could study and I don't see how a mix between a bluegrass and a rap song is particularly reprensative of the American culture (I would have loved for her to study a bluegrass song (like Steve'n'seagulls?) , or a good rap? but I'm not the one in charge...
@thewife ? I posted a picture of the lyrics she has
@messy right?! But don't get me started on this teacher...
@mnb Sadly I googled it, but those 3 parts are missing on every sites
Thanks girls, The song is "I'm gonna put you down" by gangstagrass (don't ask me why the teacher chose this song, It's beyond me ?) , I'm gonna post a picture of the lyrics she already have, she is only missing 3 lines

I need help with this!! Please and thank you
help please...
@preggie_usa I have been having trouble with the main feed it won't load at all please help thank you
I'm pretty sure he chose it mostly because you can't find the lyrics even on fan pages @EK
Also to be honest the lyrics wouldn't cause a massive problem here, even in a senior class of high school, as long as the violence in the words has a particular goal (like showing inequalities, or the persistants of a strong "ghetto" culture in some part of the US..) but I think this teacher is obnoxious?.
He is my age, so we have friends in common and I hate the way he portrays the USA image (lots and lots of cliches and exaggeration towards americans)
