I'm on an island, it's my last resort to feel kind of safe. I hope coming here from the mainland would be too much of a bother for them...
If I had seen the towers go town I would be traumatized for life ? I'm so sorry you had to go through this. And I'm sorry that you guys aren't even safe on another continent
I totally get it ? I went last night because I told myself that a place like here would never be a target (I'm in the west coast of france so nowhere near Nice) but as soon as I got the news I couldn't wait to get out of the crowd and go back home with my baby. It sucks that no-one feel safe anymore (anywhere in this world)
@ice yes it sucks ?
We went to see my town's fireworks last night.
Before that it was kind of a "smaller is your town safer you feel" vibe, but with this attack we just don't know anymore. Nice has 343 000 inhabitant, they're not just targeting the bigger city anymore
And yes from getting runned over at 65mph ? with a truck.. the terrorist got out of the truck with a gun but barely had time to shoot before getting killed
@ice It was when I made the post last night
Now it's 84 dead and 18 between life and death (and hundreds of wounded)
State of emergency has just been extended to 3 more month with borders closed
Yes at 65 mph (100km hour) through the crowd ?
Yes some of them were just babies ? none of the victims had any chance of surviving. It was a slaughter ?
84 dead now and 18 more between life and death ? it feels like this kind of thing is never gonna end
3 Germans (celebrating their high school diploma ?), 2 Americans, one Russian, one Armenian, one Ukrainian, one Switzer, and many Belgium were part of the victims. I'm so sorry for all the families involved
