What are your babies names?!!
And what does it means or why did you pick those names? ☺
My daughter's name is Elizabeth Kathryn and we call her "Ellie" for short. She is named after two of her great grandmothers who were very forward-thinking, creative, and adventurous for their time. I also like classic, strong, and traditional names, but her nickname has sort of a more modern and fun feeling to it. The best of both worlds. :-)
Draco Torin - I've been fascinated with dragons since I was a little girl and Draco means dragon. It is also a constellation of a dragon. Torin is Irish (I have Irish on my dads side) and means chief. I really didn't think it was a crazy weird name, but I get some crazy weird looks from people when I tell them!
Our 4 year old is Makayla I got her name from the movie transformers with Megan fox:)
Our 20month old we named Hunter because he was my husband first born and first son and he loves hunting
And our 4 month old Maci. Because it's not to common of a name but also not a crazy name no one can pronounce and we both have always loved that name:)
Our son's name is Grayson Daniel. The first Robin is Dick Grayson (from Batman). He's had the name picked out since high school. And my husband's name is Daniel. Since I got to name our daughter (hubby agreed with me), I let him name our son. Secretly, I liked the name he had picked out anyway.
I named my daughter Ariya Jade. It's a little bit of a funny (not so funny) story... I absolutely hated trying to come up with a girl name because I didn't like any name I thought of and to me girl names are so difficult. I basically put it all into her father's hands to pick the name. He wanted the name Ariah. I thought it was semi cute but being that I couldn't come up with anything better I ended up giving her that name (but obviously spelt it Ariya)...
Well fast forward a couple weeks after her birth A LOT of drama went down and I decided I wanted to change her name. During this time I had just started getting into the show Pretty Little Liars and fell in love with the name Aria... Kinda worked out perfectly since I don't even really have to change the current spelling of her name, just how it's pronounced lol. Took me a little while to adjust to the change but it's perfect now :) her name means "gentle music" and I've ALWAYS loved the name Jade for a middle name which doesn't really mean anything more than a shade of green but the name itself is beautiful!
Me and my fiance could could not pick a name every name I picked he hated it and every name he picked I hated it so I got the 100,000 baby names book and we went threw all the girl names we ended up with 24 total then we each picked 12 and the only name we could decide on was Skyler. Then her middle name was easy since we don't really have a family tradition on middle names on my side but on my so side Jean is a family tradition and my great aunt Wanda who passed away in a car accident before I was born her middle name was Jean. So we kept the family tradition going and she has her great great aunt's middle name.
We have three:
1 Ryan Zachary- Ryan is my husband's middle name, and we just liked it.
2 Isabella Juliette D'Lynn- The first two names, we just thought beautiful. D'Lynn is my middle name.
3 Eowyn Heidi Elora- Eowyn was created by JRR Tolkien for Lord of the Rings. We didn't like the character. Just the name. Heidi is my first name. Elora comes from a character in Willow- a movie and sweet princess we both love.
My baby's name is Christopher and it means soooo much to me. At first glance that just sounds like a typical, common name. But it's so much more than that. My sweet mom passed away a month before my son was born. A few days before her passing, my mom and I were talking about what I should name the baby. She threw in a suggestion, "why don't you call him Christopher?" We giggled about it and thought it was cute. After her passing, I knew in my heart my baby was Christopher. It's a gift from his grandma, even though they never met, she loved him with all her heart before he was even born. And he will know that all his life. ???
We named our daughter Elizabeth Ava... It was originally going to be Mira Ava, but I was on the phone with my husbands grandmother and I mentioned the name Elizabeth and she immediately burst into tears saying that it would be so perfect if we named her that because she delivered a stillborn that she named Elizabeth after HER grandmother and it's like her baby and her grandmother are her angels and she just went on and on so we HAD to name her that. The middle name is my great grandmothers name.
Our son we named Logan Clifford. Logan started off as a joke because he survived so much the first trimester (I didn't know I was pregnant till my second trimester) so my husband -the sexy nerd that he is- said he must have a healing power like wolverine... Whose real name is Logan... I loved the name so much we just had to name him that. The middle name is my husbands late grandfathers name.
So sorry for your loss @beckamb it's beautiful that you honored her by giving your daughter her names!
Wow @woozer 10 days!!! That's so crazy/funny!! I didn't you could wait that long before having to name your baby!! (How many days do you legally have before having to give a name to a baby?!)
We settled on Cora with Iris as her middle name 10 days after she was born! We just couldn't agree and Cora was the only name we both liked! We wanted something traditional but not overused. It's Greek in origin and means maiden but an old fashioned name in the UK. Iris is in memory of my grandmother as these were her favourite flowers.
We picked a boy name and girl name 3yrs ago. I told my bff, that I had dag near my whole life she loved it. We told his friend to. The boy name was my grandfather who passed away and his best friend who passed away. The girl name was his living best friend and my life long bff. 8 months before I got a bfp she was murdered and just two weeks after her mom died of cancer. She knew tho... she loved it. I absolutely loved my bff Elizabeth... I absolutely love Samantha Elizabeth!! She's a blessing and I like to think she helped pick her put special for me. I miss her dearly and it still hurts. The love of your life isn't always a significant other. You can have more than one.
We named our daughter Everly. My SO's best friend was killed last summer and his name was Evan and we wanted to honor him in some way. So we looked at names that started with an 'E'. We liked Everly, Ella, or Emma. We chose Everly because it's the closest we liked to his name. His middle name was Roy so we gave her Roya as her middle name because it's the female version of Roy and means vision or dream. So that's how we came up with Everly Roya :)
We chose Thea(Thee-ah).
SO and I watch a show called Arrow, one character's name is Thea.
One day I asked him, "So what do you think of the name "Thea"? And he said he liked it and that it was unique.
Since then we had our heart set on naming DD Thea :)
When I looked the name up, it meant "Goddess" and "Gift of God" and she truly is!
We had heaps of trouble naming her but kept coming back to a couple names "rose, Ryan,Dallas and Zoe so I started to look into the names and found the Irish version of Dallas "dalis" and just feel in love it mean "water dalis of the dale's" I don't really under stand it but I love it
I named my baby girl Raimi Grace. I wanted something unique and different. My husband was playing a video game and the character was Remy. I didn't like that name but I started looking and came across Raimi. It took me a while to find this spelling. Her name in full, in hebrew, means compassionate /favor of God.

Whats everyones real name on here??
Names!!!
What are you planning on naming the baby(ies)?
Scarlet Kinsley is my LOs name. I found out I was having a girl and that was the name that came to me her daddy liked it so that was easy. Everyone kept saying how they hated the original middle name I had picked out though and I liked it until I came across the name Kinsley in a magazine!
It all worked out. :)
