They are both not paying attention to their kids that are barely walking. One almost fell off the slide so I did an instant reaction to catch them before they fell on their head and she was like "he's fine". So who knows, maybe they are just rude people.

Personally I'd just smile and enjoy time with my child since obviously they aren't. Rub it in their faces you're more of a hands on mom. Or I could be petty and mean mug back, depends on my mood lol.

Maybe they're just talking and making mean looking facial expressions while glancing at you. It's happened to me several times where I'm so caught up in convos that I don't even notice I keep looking in one direction or one person in particular and I'm just laughing or making awkward faces. Very few times I actually notice who I'm looking at and they're giving me a funny look and I realize they probably thought I was laughing or talking bad about them. ? I always feel bad.

I seriously am so oblivious, I would never even notice if someone kept looking at me ? my husband makes fun of me all the time for this. Unless you walk up to me I probably wouldn't even notice you.

Eh don't even bother looking. Either it's just coincidental and has nothing to do with you, or if it does their miserable batches who don't deserve the brain space it takes to worry about it.

This has happened to me before as well. I'm a young(er) mom, especially when my first was born - and I would get the side eye and sly remarks all the time at the park. I was always the hands on mom playing with not only MY kids but pushing these other women's kids on the swings because they were too busy gossiping/playing on their phones/Talking crap about their husbands. Sometimes the mean girl mentality doesn't leave and they just turn into mean women. It's gross.

No not paranoid they definitely had dirty looks coming my way. Oh well, I smiled and asked can I help you with something? One said "no" all confused and then they quit looking my way. I left shortly after because of nap time. Just thought it was stupid how childish they were acting.
