This is my son's belly. He ran a fever for 3 days and I thought it was his teeth again, but then the day the fever broke he broke out in a rash. I took him to the immediate care on Friday evening because his rash got worse. Well now it looks like this and I'm kind of worried its getting worse? What does this look like to you? They told me it was just a viral infection.

Looks like he had a fever due to roseola. A rash usually appears after the fever breaks. The rash usually lasts for a few days. It's not itchy and should eventually go away.
My first son had this when he was younger and the rash eventually went away after a few days.

Roseola.. common childhood virus. 3 days of a high fever then when it breaks the body gets a rash exactly like this. The rash may look awful but it's completely normal. It will clear up in a few days.

OK awesome. I'm glad that I have something to go off of! I was worried because the immediate care doctor acted like she had no idea what it was.

My dd was in hospital for 3 days, she was discharged yesterday. She had diarrhoea, fever, swollen tonsils, inflamed throat, mortled skin and was being sick. After a day in hospital she developed a rash, they done blood tests, urine tests and a lumber puncture and came back with a viral infection! Dd had antibiotics for 48 hours and is much better. The rash is also disappearing and it has not bothered her at all. I think your sons rash will disappear in a day or so.
