20 days to my due date and yesterday I was 1 cm dilated. I’m so ready to be a mama to my baby. But she’s so not wanting to come out. Anyone have tips, to get my baby out?
How many ounces of formula is it ok to give my 1 month old?
My little girl :) 1 week old!
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤

I can get tipsy off one mixed drink. I can't imagine how little alcohol it takes to get a baby or toddler tipsy or drunk. A child should never be given any amount of alcohol, ever. I would call cps and the police if I ever saw anyone give any child alcohol.
And the crying for it so I gave a sip so they wouldn't want it anymore bull s*** . If a kid wants to play with a knife, electrical outlet, hot stove or in the street are you going to let them just because they are crying for it. No cause it's stupid as hell. Kids will cry for a lot of things and letting then do something that hurts or taste bad might stop them from crying about it. Doesn't mean you should let them so they 'learn'.

Is that @luna,,, whatever person. A sip a smell a taste nothing wtf are you thinking saying its not worthy of cps lmao. You better believe if a cop strolled by you knkw you wouldnt be doing it so why behind closed doors. If anyone i mean anyone ever gave my child a sip of sonething i didnt allow better believe hell will break loose.

Susangoodwin, see now that's an honest mistake. I drank beer thinking it waa apple juice too it was in a coffee cup.

@bxmic yeah that's true but the child should obviously at least be above 13. I work at a restaurant and we are strictly no alcohol for people under 21 even if there parents or spouses are there. We simply don't allow it but other restaurants do. Now if you do it at home that's your business but in this post we are talking about kids under 10..

When I was little my sister was watching me and our neighbor gave us a pitcher of beer from her party my sister didn't think anything of it n put it in my sippy cup. I was passed out n my mom yelled at her. We joke about it now though
Edit: she thought it was apple juice.

I'd rather have my sons hair in a pony tail than someone give him beer at a young age!

I found out that my dad gave my dd a sip of beer one time and blew my lid!!!! Do you read me???? I lost it! And I only found out because my dd started flipping out when she watched my dad open his beer and wouldn't give her any. Then when he sat it down she went to grab it or drink it and that's when he told me he let her taste it once. Man let me tell you that I didn't let him see her for almost a year! I was livid! So I understand!

While I don't agree with luna, I do understand what she's saying. My nephew threw a fit, wanting a bottle of Tabasco sauce. I opened it up and have it to him. It only took one tiny drink for him to put it down and not bother it again.

She lets her bf give her child a sip of beer, how trashy. What else does your bf do in front of your child? That's just an overall bad environment for the child. Great example Luna... and sometimes I wonder why they start out so young.
I was 14 years old and saw my cousins baby mama doing cocaine in front of her 2 year old daughter with a bunch of dudes. I went straight to my mom and told her what I saw, she got cps involved and now my cousin has full custody.

Did you do or say anything op?

Not giving my kid alcohol doesn't make me "self "righteous" it makes me... Normal?
And id rather my son drink a whole can of soda than a sip of beer. (No I don't give him soda)
And you clearly didn't read my post because they sat there and let him drink it. They obviously knew he was going to drink it.

@Luna I think the issue here is, a sip can turn into a can and a can can turn into a habit. Any amount of alcohol for a child can be dangerous. It's a big deal in my book. And it's illegal.. say whatttt
deleted-user·
All I have to say is:
I put my sons hair in a ponytail too!
deleted-user·
That's not what I'm saying. I didn't say "I did it and I'm okay" so before you get all self righteous how about you stop yourself.
I'm talking about how times are different. You're freaking out over the baby holding a can of beer. I'm sure the grandmother didn't expect the child to drink it.
Also it wasn't abnormal for a child to have whiskey on the gums/sip of beer when I was growing up and earlier.
So no its not an "I did it and I'm fine" statement. I don't see the giant deal. I'd be more worried about my father giving my dd a drink of soda than a sip of beer shed hate.

"I did it so it's okay"
No, that's really not how it works. Giving a child even a sip of beer is not okay. It's actually illegal. So kinda serious in my opinion.
And it wasn't a sip, she handed him the open can

Idk my bf gave my dd a sip of beer after she was throwing a tantrum for it. He drinks beer like water so she always cried for it. After a sip of it she doesn't cry for it anymore.
When I was a kid and sick my dad use to give me wine so I'd fall asleep.
I don't think giving a sip of beer is cps worthy. She most likely realized the baby wasn't going to drink after one sip.
Also before anyone says anything I don't condone/approve children drinking alcohol. There's a difference between a sip of beer/drinking a can of beer.

@rayleen thanks! I always kept journals as a kid and I was reading in one of my middle school journals and i had written that when I have a daughter I wanted to name her Raonii (I'm assuming I made it up) so I followed through with my middle school dream ❤️ I'm glad my husband liked it too!

Cute! Never heard that name before! Sorry for the randomness!

I've seen you post your kiddos name before & I know it has nothing to do with the post, but how do you pronounce that?
Ray-on-ee?

Wow when my son was 2 or 3 I put him in a dress and my daughter has painted his toenails and put make up on him. He's going on 13 n will still be a good brother to his sister and let her do those things. So does that make my son gay? It's a lot worse than putting his hair in a pony tail. Your family would have a heart attack if they was related to me. Giving a toddler a beer and laughing about it? I seriously think they need help. N good for you not letting them watch your children

wow very irresponsible
