I dont see anything wrong with the two colors. They look nice together! Some people just cant pull it off like you (: your brown eyes make your liner look even prettier too!

it actually is just a rule of thumb that if you go bold on the eyes try to go neutral on the lip, or bold lip needs neutral low key eyes.

doesn't mean it has to be followed! I think it mostly applies when doing a big bold red dramatic lip, or bold smokey eyes.

I'm not a fan but I think you might be younger than me. I'm more of a neutral colors. Bright colors scare me but I'm also a lot more pale as well.

I used the urban decay naked 2 palette so that says a lot about my color scale.

Cute but I would definitely choose a more neutral lip color with that eye liner! Both pretty colors but not too good together.
