Less Common Symptoms
Anyone else deal with completely normal, but less common symptoms during pregnancy? I've been dealing with eyesight changes and bloody noses my entire pregnancy, but had none of the more common complaints like morning sickness. I NEVER had nose bleeds before I got pregnant, and as I'm currently working on stopping one I was curious if anyone else had "quirky" complaints.
I had quite a few nose bleeds during my pregnancies. I noticed they occurred more when I was taking warm baths. They are actually a common symptom. You have more blood in your body to support the baby when pregnant. You may also notice your gum bleed easily while brushing them or even while eating an apple.
I developed carpal tunnel during my first pregnancy and it never went away. That was 3 years ago. I developed anxiety during my twin pregnancy and it's still here 11 months postpartum.
Mine was healthy but brutal. I had rib pain that had me laid up for hours a day. I'd take my lunch break and stretch out on a yoga mat on my office floor because sitting hurt so badly.
Morning sickness that lasted 22 weeks, and I vomited so much that I had to go to the ER because I tore my esophagus.
Also developed carpel tunnel that persisted for 18 months pp.
Also, terrible, life altering gas. I wouldn't have blamed my husband if he found a new hobby to keep him out of the house all day.
Thanks for letting me vent. Maybe my baby fever isn't quite so high after typing that all out ?
Oh my eyesight has always been terrible. I need to get new contacts and I'm trying to decide if it's worth getting them now or if I should wait and see if my eyes go back to how they were before haha
Nose bleeds, migraines, heart palpitations. I would lose almost all vision in my left eye every time I got a migraine. I had a very easy but very annoying pregnancy lol.
