Are you a manipulator? Have you ever been called a manipulator? Do you purposely manipulate people?

Sometimes I can be. I used to do it purposely all the time when I was younger

At work yes, its part of my job getting ppl to do things they dont really want to do.

In my personal life I'm not at all, I dislike manipulative ppl immensely.

My ex boss that currently owes me $800 who won't pay me TRIED to manipulate me. I guess it works when he talks to other people but never worked for me. It actually pissed me off more than anything. Probably the only one I have ever truly encountered. He would always try to make our arguments my fault when he was arguing with himself. I even told him one time he tried to manipulate me and he agreed and I told him to stop because it doesn't work. ?

I think people who are manipulative definitely know they are. It's a skill that I believe requires mental fortitude to carry out.

I know some very manipulative people and I always wonder if they are aware of it or if it's something inherent in their nature that they have no idea about.

Yes too many times, I used to be extremely manipulative now I try not to be like that but it's hard. People are very easily manipulated and I'm very persuasive

I've been called a manipulator but idk if it counts because it was by my ex husband. I was trying to get him to go to school and better himself but he saw me as trying to manipulate him to be the person I wanted him to be. I guess my manipulation tactics didn't work so well because he doesn't have a pot to piss in and I take half his paycheck every payday.
