Iris my bf is the same with google. Dd will have a slight cough and he thinks we need to rush to the dr. Or go online and swear it's the worst possible thing lol. It looks like heat rash or new soap reaction to me

My 1 year old just had this same rash 2 days ago and we rushed him to dr thinking it was hives and was told it was just a viral rash. He also had horrible diarrhea but no other symptoms. Its gone now and by the looks of it your lo should be clear tomorrow.

Viral rash. My kids get them every single time they're sick. Their pedi said it was normal, especially after a fever.

It could be from the antibiotics, but my son use to get this after colds n fevers.

Or it looks like it could have been roseola.

I will say heat rashes can also look like this. Just throwing any possibilities out there. I hope you find out what's causing it and your LO clears up soon. It's scary seeing their skin so broken out and not having a clue what's causing it ?

Looks like a post-fever rash.

A lot of children get something like this after having a very high fever.

One of my girls had a rash that looked JUST like this a few months ago and it happened again two weeks ago. If you look in my previous posts I posted a picture awhile back and a picture of her recent one. First time her doctor said it was a rash caused by a viral infection. When it happened again recently I researched myself and found the rash looked similar to a dairy intolerance rash. However her pediatrician thinks it's a bad case of eczema. They're referring us to a dermatologist though to solve the mystery.

Thanks ladies! ?

3rd child and there's always something new with each one.

My SO googled it and was convinced it was meningitis. He scared the crap out of me. I did the test they do and I'm pretty sure it's not that.

Kms thanks for the link!

It looks like a rash of some sort. I wonder why Benadryl didn't help

Did you switch laundry detergents?? My DD's chest looked similar to this when I went from using Tide Free & Gentle to regular Tide. I used Cetaphil products and it began clearing up in about 24 hours.

He just got over a cold and ear infection. His last dose of amoxicillin was this morning.

Serena he was out playing in the grass for a few hours yesterday.

I gave him Benadryl earlier and it did nothing for him.

I'm never one to run to the Dr over every little thing so I've been monitoring him to see if anything changes.

He's been running around all day and he's acting his normal self.
