School lunch question
What do you ladies do to keep the sandwiches and food from going bad? Of course I'm specifically asking about refrigerated stuff.
Is it weird that I'm considering breast milk bags? They freeze flat and I can fill it with water. Her lunchbox can only take a flat ice pack with the Bento box inside.
I'm asking because my husband was suggesting that the food would not go bad in 4 hours. I wouldn't want to take that risk with his health.
I'm going to freeze his water and use that
I add something frozen. Usually a fruit cup, grapes, gogert. I'm cheap so if I'm not sending frozen foods, it's a disposable plastic water bottle I just refill at night.
I freeze their juice boxes and then put them in the kids lunches and they thaw by lunchtime

There's lots of ideas on Pinterest too. I always pack my daughters lunch bc school lunch at her school is $4.50 per day. ??
