Is this bad????

My doc called me back and said it was a past infection. The second part of the test came back normal??

You can get it from undercooked/raw meat. It looks like this was an antibody test so that's probably why it says it can't differentiate between a current or past infection. It's possible that the infection could have happened years ago (also could have been recently). In most cases once you've had it, you can't get it again. I thought about getting the antibody test for it to see if I could change my cat's litter while pregnant but just decided to make hubby do it instead. Lol

That would make sense. It can cause flu like symptoms.

Yeah I’m normally really healthy. I’m wondering if when I did have this infection, it was in December when I couldn’t keep anything down

If you are a relatively healthy person then it is not that bad. Sometimes you won't even need treatment. But I am sure you will be discussing the results with your doctor.

Let me also add i have no cats or animals.
