I think it would look great if you had a piece of wood (4 or 5 inches thick, 3 inches tall, and 6 inches long) and drilled holes into the top. The wands could sit in the holes to be displayed upright. You could paint the holder and put the HP symbol or a quote on the front. Add brackets on the block (like you would for a picture) and hang them up.

It looks ok but the holders are distracting from the wands. I love them

Have you checked out Noblecollections.com? They have TONS of Harry Potter memorabilia and they have a few display cases and such for wands. I've got a replica Hermione's yule ball earrings from there and I love them. My next purchase will be the Mirror of Erised. They have other things besides Harry Potter too. It's an awesome site for replicas and stuff.

I think I'd do a L bracket but actually.. Fishing line is pretty genius too.
Side Note: reminds me of those floating necklaces back in the day

There's 6 total. 2 are the same. The 2 youngest picked the same wand. I currently have them in birth order with the husbands (elder wand) on top

If you want to use what you have, change the finish on the hooks and they will be fine. They are just too shiny. You can scuff them up a bit, paint with black acrylic (cheap) and sand with a fine grit to achieve a rustic finish that doesn't detract from the pieces. Maybe more negative space between each piece.
The wands are so delicate (yet powerful!) that a more understated mounting would showcase them better. Fishing line would be great! Make a mobile!

I would recommend a shadow box. I think this looks odd. No offense.
