Yes it has chicken, but you could omit the chicken and add some sort of veggie for a substitute. Some acorn or butternut squash would be good. Or add more and or different kinds of beans.

Smart lady. I need to make freezer meals but with a picky husband, that's a bit challenging.

Yummy!! Every 3 months a group of my friends and I do a bagged meal day. We plan what we want to make, trying to reuse ingredients in a lot f what we do to save money then we all split the cost. We each usually leave with 15-20 meals. Put it is literally an all day project but we have a blast. This is very economical. :)

Wow! That's amazing! So, if that's for 15 days, do you spend over $1200 a month on groceries for dinner?

Yes usually

That is impressive. About $40 a night for dinner, but those are some fancy dinners! I can't get over how fast you put them all together.

Renee....I havnt noticed any flavor reduction....but they also don't sit. We eat them immediately.

Kizzoo....I defrost them the day before in the fridge and then dump the entire thing into the crock pot. That's it.

They are 2 gallon freezer bags BJ, no preservatives.

Trixie...yup roughly. We are also a family of six so that adds to the cost as well.
