Rave for the Foonf! I am loving our new Foonf! It's such a great seat and a dream to install.

*sigh* maybe one day....the graco clones aren't there either and I don't know if they will be.

The email they sent me back was about Canadian Safety Standards but was vague so it could've just been a polite way of saying we don't want too! Lol!

Yeah, I don't know if its a standard thing? Or that they just don't want to bring it to Canada....it took a couple years for the keyfit to get there, so it could eventually. But not soon enough for you. The Foonf also has a lower weight limit there. It's 50 here for RF and 40 there. The peg Perego (also a fantastic seat) goes to 45 and will definitely fit in your car.

I've never sat in it so I can't really say ;) lol it is less cushy then many other seats as far as squish factors goes

I was really hoping it would! I love my keyfit. I emailed Chicco and got a vague answer back so I don't think it's coming. You would think if it met American safety standards it would meet Canadian standards too :(

I think I'll go with the Foonf. Once I convince my oh that the price is worth it.... Or just hide the price from him! Ha!

Is it comfortable? The review I read online said would not be good for longer car rides because of the comfort factor?

I think so silly....I don't know if the Nextfit will ever come to Canada unfortunately. I don't believe there are any plans for it to come anytime soon.

Even though I think I'm a couple months away from needing a new seat I've given up hope that the Nextfit will be available here (Canada) anytime soon.

Do you think the Foonf would fit well in my Pontiac Vibe passenger side?

They say it does Charlie....but it takes up a lot more room then the Nextfit does. It's still quite compact, but not super compact.

Does this seat fit well in small cars? (2 door types?)

Judo...no I don't. The Nextfit is my jam! But the Foonf is a great seat and does have some better features then the Nextfit. I just happen to love the Nextfit the best.

Do you like it better than the Chicco nextfit? I'm trying to decide which one I want to get and can't decide between them.

Yes, the drift has regular fabric but is cheaper. You get all the same features except the stain resistant/anti-microbial fabric

Ohhh, i didnt even realize the diffrent models. I thought i only seen one, the one that you posted is what i keep seeing everywhere. So looks like 500 is gonna be the bottom line for all the features.

Clek direct is probably the most expensive....amazon has deals sometimes. The drift model is like $399...but you don't get the crypton fabric with that one.

Ohhh, cause ya im wondering how to go about getting one. prices are so different from say buy buy baby to amazon to who knows how much at the boutiques. Either way Im getting one somehow lol

I have such a carseat boner for the Foonf. I was showing my husband the Paul Frank editions tonight and trying to make him excited about them lol.

What would you like to know? It rearfaces to 50 lbs and then forward faces to 65. The fabric is completely stain resistant and anti-microbial. It has an active management force reduction system called the REACT system which is only found on the the Foonf. It's reinforced with titanium and also recyclable.
