Yeah I'm on my phone. Am only seeing Sevens. I'll look again later. I'm 37, you look much younger but seem very mature. I've enjoyed learning from you. Thank you.

Dexters may not be viewable on mobile? One of them for some stupid reason won't let me change the syndication. You'll have to view it on a computer. I have 5 kids, but only parent 4 of them.

I only found Seven's... will look again for the others. I just love birthing videos. I know you've told me, but how many kids do you have again?

Which one? (I have 2 on there) if its Dexter....the girl with the curly hair and the older women with the super short hair were my midwives, the one with her hands usually on me or sitting next to me is my doula...and the rest were friends and my 3 other kids.

If it was Sevens, my midwife and doula are the same, the guy is her godfather (husbands cousin) and the other one is my BFF.

Just cried through your birth video...Thanks for sharing. You looked so relaxed. How did you do it? And who were all those people in the room all family and the birthing people?

Also enjoyed all your hair styles and colors...Hahahaha, I change my hair constantly too.

There isn't really any "cheap" wovens if you are buying brand new. Even used, they are still pretty expensive. *I* personally love Didymos and Natibaby. Any wrap is really a beginner wrap, it's just the size you buy. 4's are my favorite size, but not generally something you start with. 6 or 7 is the best starting point usually. They hold their value, so you won't be losing much if you do buy a new wrap and end up hating it.

What would you recommend for a beginner wrap? I really want to try it and see if we like it but don't want to spend a ton and then hate it.

Jen....BWI recommends legs out for "proper positioning". I've done both with my kids.

Osnaburg is fine. It will never be as supportive as a real wrap...but it works for learning or if you don't want to spend the money on one.

Нравится Ответить

Squishy, is it better to do legs out from the beginning? I know she'll have to be froggy legged in our ssc's, but what about the wrap and RS?

Нравится Ответить

I had a feeling using a 4 was part of the problem. Is an Osnaburg wrap worth learning with?

If you watch from the beginning you can watch me shrink and then get fat again ????? it's amusing. My birth videos are on there too.

Yeah...they got ahold of dads shaver ????

I saw 1 video with long hair and several with short. And 1 with two little boys with some hair nicks from a shaver or something. They are all adorable. The one specifically I was referring to before was your little girl in the tutu. I think I saw her in 3 videos if that's right...

Squishy I love your videos. You obviously know so much about baby wearing. I just get so overwhelmed watching because you and baby look so comfortable getting situated and I would've dropped by guy right away.

Squishy- I'm going to follow you on instagram! And hoping to meet you at mommycon!

Which one? (There is 2 babies). Skinny me or me with long hair is my 5.5 year old daughter. Newer videos (made within the last almost 3 years) is my youngest...and thanks!

Jade...Leo Marine is dark cobalt blue with a lighter blue in the diamonds. The turquoise has another name (can't remember). Same wrap, just different color. That's why your having issues because your using a shorty as a beginner. You need a 6 really to start....you need length as a beginner. It's to hard to wrap with short wraps as a beginner.

I have TONS of photos on my IG (same name just drop the 1) and I have a whole YouTube channel dedicated to wrapping videos (YouTube.com/squishymommy1)

Yes squishy, I want to see photos too!

Нравится Ответить

You should post pictures of you wearing tour children in.different wraps!

My wrap never seems right.on me...

Нравится Ответить

I think the Leo I'm borrowing is Marine! He's a deeper blue with a turquoise rail/weaving. Its grippiness is part of my issue. I think the other part is that it's a 4 and I'm fluffy :-/

Omg I love your stash! I just have my one natibaby wrap and an oscha ring sling, can't wait to try them with this little girl! We wear ds in his Tula, and holy cow I love those too ?

I've been thinking about trying wraps... It's a little intimidating!

Leo Marine was one of my first wraps! It is a bit stickier then some. I really like Didymos and Natibaby wraps myself. That's what most of my stash is...with some Oscha, Kokadi and Pavo sprinkled in

Wait... I'm missing something, what are these? ?

A lady in my BWing group just bought a loom! I wonder if she'll end up saving any money? lol! She has an Uppy and a crazy collection of wraps. What's your fave brand for a basic wrap, Squishy? The one I'm borrowing is a Storch Leo... Is that why I'm having trouble? It's fairly thick, but soft.

I love Sloomb. They are one of our sponsors! We have an exclusive MommyCon diaper through them. Resale value is roughly what you pay....unless its a HTF/HSA wrap which drives the market value up. The retail for the bottom wrap was $330 I think (I obviously didnt pay retail)? The black and white farther up was retailed for $189 when I bought it and there was a point it was being sold for $700.

Нравится Ответить

What is resale value like? I know with sloomb wool a lot of moms don't mind the price tag as much because it doesn't lose the value unless you do some serious damage to it.
