8 month old leaving over milk
My son is nursed but also supplemented. He used to always finish his bottle. He gets 6 oz 3 times at daycare, 2 purée at daycare, nurses before he goes to daycare, nursed when he gets home, has 1/2 a veggie, then nurses agajn. He wouldn't finish 3 oz after nursing (had about 2) and he was downing 4 oz at bedtime. Should I be concerned. He is still small (about 15 lb)

Nursing troubles .. Does anyone else's LO only nurse during letdown ?? He will suck long enough to get my letdown started, nurse during that and then want nothing more to do with it after letdown Is done.. This is maybe 5 min on each boob.. He does this all day long and I'm concerned he's not getting enough. He grew two inches from 2 months to 4 but only gained 1 lb 13 oz.. The only time he nurses longer is when I "dream feed" twice during the night.

Ever have a bad gut feeling about your husband ? Like he doing something he shouldn’t or whatever ?

My daughter also started to not finish her bottles. So I cut back to solids twice a day instead of 3 times. I read that they should still be getting a minimum of 20oz a day.

Thanks. He is gaining, just started out small at 5 lb 4 oz. he dropped to 4 lb 12 so he has basically tripled his birth weight. He was born a month early and didn't gain great his first month.

Check with his doctor, but if he's eating all of his food he might be signalling that he's wanting more food and less milk. Call his doctor for sure if you're concerned that he's not gaining enough. Good luck hun
