Debating if I wanna talk with a lawyer about my options with Naomi's father since he hasn't seen Naomi in a month and shows no affect in seeing her anytime soon(which is somehow all my fault)cause I feel like their no point but apart of me scared cause he is on her birth certificate and I know he can just come and take Naomi and not give her back to me even though I pretty much raised Naomi by myself since she was born idk what to do but wanna do what best for Naomi without hurting her or having her hate me in the future

I would make sure to at least start with a lawyer especially since he is on the birth certificate and you do not want him coming to just take the baby away from you

Wouldn't hurt to talk about your options. I would make sure he is not allowed to pick her up from daycare, if she's in one. If he is MIA, I would personally just leave it alone. I would be afraid any change would stir up trouble just because he's angry.

All you can do is try, when talking to the lawyer see about setting up a schedule so that if he every tries to withhold her from you, you can get the police involved and they will return her to whoever’s custody she should be in and document every time he doesn’t show, not just for you but for later court records. And let your daughter know as she grows up, it’s nothing to do with her for his lack of interest and that he is the one missing out on all the good, bad and ugly. And ultimately he does love her even if he has a shitty way of showing it. Build her up, never let her use that as a crutch in life, let her know because of it she is strong. She will thank you for it later on I promise ❤️ this is coming from someone who’s mom did everything she could to raise me when my father walked out 💪🏽

I would at least speak to a lawyer and find out my options.
Who knows her father might even be relieved to give up responsibility.
