I've done my own washing since I moved out at 17 (10 years ago). Everything always gets washed together including whites, darks and colours and everything has always come out as it went in so I don't see a problem?! Towels go in with everything else. I do bedding altogether but thats it. It stays on 40 degrees mixed coloured setting unless I need to do a quick 20 or 30 minute wash to freshen something which is 20 degrees refresh setting 😀

I wash my whites separate from my colours but darks and colours go in together. New clothes I always wash separate too x

I literally have so many different laundry baskets for sorting! I do darks, lights, whites, jeans, towels, bedding and kitchen cloths/towels all separate the idea of mixing them up makes me twitchy! I also use different machine settings depending on what im washing.. also if the setting doesnt tell you the temp its usually 30/40 degree x

@georgina-ox mine have never came out discoloured 😁 I don't have enough whites to do a seperate wash anyway, it's a mixed wash setting and I've never had an issue 😁 xx

@mamaofzuri hahaha I've never separated them 😂 I use 2 settings on the machine 😂😂 I do towels and bedding seperate that's it 😂

@sara-lou86 I don't own any white socks, Gary does and Kai has a few but that's it 😂 until a disaster happens I'm gona carry on chucking it all in together 😁😂

I think Morgan has one white t-shirt (because it has a dinosaur on it) & he's not allowed to wear it on nursery days so I can make sure it doesn't get any major stains on it. Other than that I think it's only Max who has a handful of vests. I don't even buy white socks 🤣

@beffgoude no idea what degree mine is just says mixed wash 😂 I've never used a colour catcher either 😂

@sara-lou86 yeah it's literally just white socks it would take forever to get a load of whites for a wash 😂, haha yeah Gary doesn't even buy himself white clothes or trainers cause he wrecks them 😂

@nataliielouiseexo I just do a 40 wash. And then add in whatever things I need like colour catchers or stain remover etc for each wash and I dunno I just liked that number, my mum does same but I think hers is 12, it doesn't count for socks and pants though 😂

My Mum's horrified I mix everything but I've never had any issues. We also don't have much white so would take ages for there to be enough. I have 2 boys... I actively avoid white where possible lol

I do all the separate washes. I do a colour wash, a white wash, a jean wash, a towel wash, a bedding wash, and then anything that has stains on wash.

And I count how many items go in my machine too, as i don't like anymore than 15 😂😂😂🙃

I've always done a mixed wash. I haven't got time for sorting into colours 😂 Never had any issues yet!

@gem_1618 I usually just do a mix wash duno whay degrees it is mind 😂 I wash towels together on a quick wash 😂

I do this aslong as the clothes are not new cause they run but only do washing on 30 degree un less whites x
