Who's on baby number 3??!
So, I'm super nervous. My first, she tore through her amniotic sack at 39 weeks. I was induced and pushed her out in 20 mins. My 2nd, at 38 weeks.. I was in labor for about 5 hours and pushed him out in .. no joke.. 10 mins.
Well I Had My Daughter Today Literally Took Me 1 Hour & 35 mins & 2 Pushes & She Was Here ! 🥰💖💖 So In Love With Her & Her Name Is Anastasia ! It Happen So Fast & Had The Best Experience! And She Was 7 Pound 10
Walking blocks & malls when I hit 36 weeks 😅 i rather walk her out than have to get induced 🤦🏾 ♀ so hopefully I can get her out before my induction date 👏🏾
**BIRTH STORY** March 24th 1:45am. (Me & my 10yr old home sleep) got up to use the bathroom & Had my bloody show. So I text my bf who works in L.A (2 hours away/off at 330am) saying keep phone on loud she'll be here within 24 hours. 2:30am felt a slight uncomfortable pressure starting.Text my bf saying pressure is starting I'll probably be calling early am. 3:30am mild contractions starting 12 min apart. Text bf saying head down they've started. 4:10am..7 min apart starting to hurt. Crawl on floor to help (no help)...get in bath (no help). Get out..in pain. Screaming laying on bed and banging on wall...daughter wakes up freaking out. I say baby is coming. She gets me towels I was sweating trys to rub back and tell me to cry & scream in pillow lol. By this time I'm sure a few neighbors have been waken lol. 4:20 am.. 4 min apart IN HORRIBLE PAIN. I'm thinking shit my bf won't make it. I'm screaming loud, hitting my wall pulled a blind down lol laying on my side in bed rocking back and forth. Only position I could tolerate a lil. And with every contraction I lose my breathe and have to tighten my muscles/push. 4:32am 2 min apart. I'm dying. By now I'm sure my.complex thought I was being murdered. My daughter is there still in shock but helpful thank goodness. Told her to get dressed. She says ok but i dont want to go to school im staying with u lol. Ok girl lol. 4:44am as I'm fighting screaming thru a contraction my water POPS alllll over the place like a water balloon and I think "oh fck shes coming". I cry out my water just broke to my daughter call Nana on your phone. I call my bf muffled screamed my waterrrr just broke I'm calling 911 and going. He says something like he's 30 min away but I hung up lol & called 911 (4:45am). They answer and I yell/cry "shes coming!!"she said who's coming??! I said the babyyy, she said on youre pregnant. Etc she stays on phone saying breathe, get in middle of bed all that good stuff. I hear so many sirens THANK GOD. 4:51am about 8 paramedics appear in my room like angels lol. I hang up w/ 911. They ask questions idk I keep saying I gotta push. They say no don't push let's sit up & get in chair so we can head to hospital. I keep screaming I can't move I gotta push. They say nooo. I say yesss lol. I say I can't breathe. They give me oxygen. I say imma push I feel her coming down!...one paramedic was like "Amber don't.... Oh ummm is that hair?! OK she's gotta push get towels get towels. My daughter gives them towels and goes talk to officers in living room. 1 push I can feel 'ring of fire' and head out. I can breathe a lil better. 2nd push. Still in. 3rd hard push I feel her body slid out and pain subside. SHE'S HERE... 5:02 AM born on Mommy's bed.
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

I’m worried about the same thing! I asked in another moms group and half of the moms with 3 kids had their third faster and the other half didn’t so it’s hard to know.
1st: born 40w, 3 days. 8 hours of labor, hour of pushing
2nd: born 39w, 6 days. Less than 5 hours of labor, 15 minutes pushing. She was born less than 2 hours after we got to the hospital. Guess I won’t be waiting at home at all this time!

First baby - 26hr Labour, pushing for almost 2hrs, forceps and big tear
Second baby - induced, went from 1cm and them breaking my water to baby here in 30 min! Bit scared in case it happens that fast again.

I'm on #3 as well. My first my water broke at 38 weeks but labor wouldnt start. I was induced and labored for 17 hours. Only pushed for 5 minutes and she was out and i had a 4th degree tear*ouch*!!!
My second was a scheduled induction at 39w3d and boy was he big. I only labored for 6 hours and pushed 3 times.
This time will be a scheduled induction at 39 weeks unless baby comes earlier. I live almost an hour away so an induction really puts my mind at ease.

Oh wow I would be worried too. This is only my 2nd but with my first I went from 1cm to 10cm in 6 hours and only pushed for 20 minutes so my doctor actually mentioned coming in sooner this time lol

Omg! Im only on my second but which I had my son that fast lol I was in labor for 36hrs and it took me 4hrs to push him out

Baby 1: 5 hours labor 2.5 hours pushing(she was stuck, vacuum assisted). Water broke before heading to the hospital.
Baby 2: 3 hours labor 3 minutes of pushing. They broke my water seconds before he was delivered.
Baby 3: unsure, but I have it set up to deliver 25 minutes away from home. Instead of my other option of a hour and 15 minutes away.

Thanks ladies! With my 2nd, he was waiting to come out and I was ready to push right when I got to the hospital but my husband had to take our daughter back home because she wasn't feeling well and I wanted to wait for him to get back to push. Lil one was very patient.. I was able to wait until my husband got back for my Dr to break my water..

1st indices at 40 weeks 6 hour labour
2nd spontaneous labour. 4 hours from when I lost my mucus plug. Only just made to to hospital already pushing
3rd induced at 41 weeks 2 hours 20 Minutes
4th on the way.
I love about 45 minutes from my hospital also and my doctor is concerned I’m not going to make it.

Not to scare you but once youve had a precipitous labor(fast, usually 4 hrs or less) youre most likely to have another one with subsequent children. I am on my 5th and literally could be birthing my own child at home, i have my drs number on speed dial because we live in the same town and i have about a 25min drive to the hospital. My births in order:
Dd- 40weeks 2 days, 8.5 hrs labor
Ds1-38weeks, 5hr 15min labor
Ds2-38weeks, 3hr labor, Got to the hospital crowning, he was born within 4minutes of arrival
Ds3- 39 weeks,20min labor

Baby 1: 40+4, 6 hr labour (induced), 35 mins of pushing
Baby 2: 40+1, 12 hr labour (natural), 12 mins pushing
Im not so much worried about how long my labour is, im lucky to be a t min drive away but i hope my pushing time goes down even further!

1# 12 hours labour and 1 hour pushing at w39.1
2# was induced due to preeclampsia at 35 weeks . Labour was 5 hours and pushing stage was less than an hour.

Baby #1 - 8 days late. Had to be given meds to dilate which kick started labor. Pushed 2 hours.
Baby #2 - 6 days early. Born 7 hours after contractions started but only 2 pushes.
Baby #3 - tbd
I think each baby comes a little faster for some. Both my labors were so different it is hard to tell what the third will bring.

I'm also on baby #3. First labor was 58 hours long (pushed for 5 hours, ended up with a c-section) at 39+4, second was 12 hours long (VBAC, pushed for 4 hours) at 39+3, third TBD. I live 8 minutes away from the hospital, 20 minutes tops with traffic, and even then my doctor doesn't want me to hangout at home too long because of the same fears you have. As you said, every birth is different. Maybe you can start planning ahead for help with other two kids, plan different hospital routes to avoid traffic, etc. To put your mind at ease?
