My husband wanted to come to the hospital for stomach pain. Been here since 11:30... they gave him something to drink so they could do a ct scan and told him to drink one from 1:30-2 and the other 2-2:30... as soon as they gave him the cut he took a sip and said it was nasty, waited until they left the room to say he didn’t want it and started falling asleep( not due to the drink, he just falls asleep at anytime) I woke him up at 1:50 and asked him to finish the first cup so he could start the other one so they could come get him and this big baby said he’s not drinking it cause it’s nasty and rolled over to go back to sleep... so I took the car keys and now me and Zach are in the car while he sleeps away inside

It's just CT contrast. It is nasty I will say that. But if the Dr find out that he will not drink the contrast to find out what is causing him issues with his stomach then they will think he's not really all that sick or in pain in the first place. They can do the CT without contrast but it would be useless because the contrast helps highlight area they need to look at.
Men can be such babies. We have to drink glucose during pregnancy and then push out babies but oh my gosh that nasty contrast has to go. *eye roll*

@lovelily, like I seriously started crying because I was so upset. I haven’t eaten today and he’s been waking me up since 6 to complain about the discomfort so I’m like look we going to hospital just for him to get here to sleep

It’s not that bad, just contrast solution mixed with water. If he actually has a problem it’ll be the last stuff he drinks until after surgery so he’d better suck it up. (Lol see what I did there😂). I would have left his immature self too! Sorry he’s being such a pain hun!
