Finally had my appointment with a fertility specialist yesterday. I need to do a Hsg 😨😩 and some blood work before we start treatment. Hopefully it won't take months before I can complete the IUI, nonetheless I am so thankful for this opportunity. Fx 🤞🏾Everything goes well!!!

@mrs.olivas yes I stopped trying for a year. I went from a size 18 to a size 10. I was feeling the best I had ever felt in my life, lol. I started having to pee a lot, so I went to my Obgyn for antibiotics for what I thought was a UTI. I was 18 weeks pregnant & didn't know it. My periods have been irregular my whole life, they come every 3-4 months. I was mistaking my pregnancy symptoms for PMS. Good luck.. I hope it happens soon for you ☺🙏🏾
I went through the same thing. I stopped trying everything, lost 55 lbs & I ended up pregnant. Totally was not trying to conceive at that time. My doctor said the weight loss played a factor in me getting pregnant. Good luck to you.

@mrs.olivas it's a test to check your fallopian tubes to make sure there aren't any blockages...anything preventing you from getting pregnant.

I also recently had a fertility appointment. They want to do an hsg as well. I’ve had 3 c sections so they’re worried about scar tissue maybe blocking a tube. But we just found out it’s male factor infertility. The hubby has low count. Best of luck!!
