Ugh. So I literally feel like the worst mom in the world right now.. Isabelle has mastered pulling herself to stand and she does it on absolutely anything & everything she can. Today, she was holding herself up on a rocking chair at the edge of the living room/beginning of the kitchen, so the floor goes from carpet to hard wood. I kept pulling her down but of course, the second I turned around she lost her balance and fell over and hit her head where the carpet meets the wood floor. She started screaming & crying, of course, but calmed down within a minute or so once I picked her up. Afterwards she waa fine, happy, smiling.. be her normal self. But there's a reddish-blue mark (maybe bruising) and a little bump. If she's acting fine, do I not have to worry?? Or are there symptoms I should look out for?? She's napping now and I gave her a half dose of baby tylenol for the pain (she's also cutting her 3rd tooth)
Just someone, please give me some insight, advice, or whatever because I feel so awful :/
Ps. Please no negative comments, I already feel horrible enough on my own, thank you x
I added some pics: the little metal ledge where carpet meets wood, the bump right after it happened, the bump after 10 mins of putting a cool rag on it (thats the one that is darker red) and also her smiling watching her show seeming to not notice anything :p
Thank you, mamas. I was beating myself up :( but ever since she has been acting normal.. she seems to always forget getting hurt within 5 mins of it happening :p
@mermaidmeshy omg! Poor baby! But im so glad shes ok!
@mrs.letty.luna ohhh! I will have to look into getting some! I love natural/homeopathic remedies
I read as long as they don't loose consciousness when they hit and they aren't lethargic they are okay.( they will get sleepy, thats okay let her nap). My son has done this to me 2ce and took a nap right after!!
Same happened to my son he had it on his forehead and looked like a balloon e.r said he is fine since I put some oil for pain on it worry if it's where the hair is like over head or behind ear or nose bleeding if baby is happy and acting normal then baby is fine...
Look out for
dizzy
Slow movements like zombie
Bleeding from nose
No balance
Crying
Or won't wake up

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

Does this look like a dog? If so, what kind? Someone posted it on a lost dog Facebook page and said that she is very skinny and looks like she's been on her own for a while. She kind of looks like a baby fox or coyote to me.

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .

Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
@katiibby She didn't even act like it bothered her the next day.
