Anybody else prescribed baby aspirin?

My doctor told me at my last appointment to start taking it. When I went to buy some I noticed on the bottle it says not to take it if you have an ulcer. The last time I talked to my gastro he suspected an ulcer just a few months ago. So I figured I'd wait until my next appointment and ask my doc about it

Me, I have to take 2 a night! But I haven’t even open them I hope it don’t harm my pregnancy

Yes but it’s not because of my bp.

I was when I was pregnant due to me having preeclampsia with my first pregnancy and took it once a day and they made me stop taking it 2 weeks before my c-section

Yes I have to take it daily because I have a history of preclampsia in my past pregnancies.

I take 1 a day but not for blood pressure. I've had 6 losses in a row she has me taking it in case of blood clots

Yes. I took it my entire last pregnancy and am taking it again this time. It has absolutely helped me.

Yeah if your having that I’d say you take it.. I haven’t had any problems with my bp or having protein at all.. I’m gonna ask the specialist next week when I go if she says it’s fine take it I will.. she was gonna look over my labor chart. I have a gut feeling it was the epidural.😏

@casanovaivette2711 Yeah I kinda felt the same - especially since my blood pressure wasn't high, I was spilling protein - but decided better be safe than sorry. The maternal fetal specialist prescribed it, but my obgyn said she supports it and I trust her.

Idk.. I’m just scared of taking it. The reason why they gave it to me is because I had complications during labor.. my bp was messed up but I have a strong feeling it was the epidural .. so I’m iffy about taking something I might not need

Yes I’ve been prescribed baby aspirin haven’t taken it yet 😏

Apparently the new thing is that if you’ve had higher blood pressure in previous pregnancies, they recommend one baby aspirin a day.
