To determine they say lay down for 30-60 min. Then when you get up if it comes out right away it’s most likely your water.

This happened to me. I was only losing like small amounts like quarter size spots in my underwear but it just felt different. So I did this and had a good amount come out after laying down. Went in they tested it and it came back negative but they believed I had a high leak and baby’s head was blocking/stopping it every so often. Turns out it was my water because I came back less than 5 hours later when my water full on broke everywhere.

If you are concerned it’s better to go in. Because once the water breaks you have so much time to deliver/ be put on antibiotics because of the risk of infection and dry birth.

@damnkmar20, no problem😊 & yeah I dreaded it as well and went there 2ce because of decreased movements but I was just paranoid lol!😅 & I remember the doctor at the hospital telling me how important it was to come in if I thought it was my water because the risk of infection was high if it was!! Go to the hospital, they will check the fluid for you!! I thought I was having watery discharge but the next day realized it was my water leaking. If it is ur water u need to go get see a doctor it can give u and baby a bad infection if the amniotic sack has a rip in it ( my son ripped his but blocked it with his head so I didn't know for 2 days)
