@caiticat, Right. We can’t even go out to dinner with him, his dad, myself and her because she wants him all alone. Like do his father and I not exist too? He wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for us.

@tibi2696, no, not to baby sit. But like at all. They wanna talk him to the zoo, the beach , his great grandpas. Or even just to her house. But she doesn’t want me around , EVER. I invited them to lunch with my son and I, and she said “nah, we want him alone” like okay. 👌🏼 So I told them they can take him this Saturday because his dad and I are going back to toys r us for the sale to get the bigger items. And she texted me this morning wanting him tomorrow and Saturday. I told her Friday I have plans for him to see my great grandpa who’s in the hospital dying and she threw a huge ass fit.

I wouldn’t look too far into it unless she gave me weird vibes

This is like my MIL. I think it’s super weird. I think mine wants to be alone with my son so she can do whatever she wants. She’s one of those people who thinks her way is the only way and I’m nothing like her, so I’m pretty sure if I let her she’d just take him and do everything DH and I are against. 🙄 Don’t back down if it makes you uncomfortable.

@kelsey19, It’s just crazy to me. If my grandma wants to see him, she’s never like “drop him off, I don’t want you here when I see him” like what ? No one else that wants to see him has ever said anything like this to me before, except her. She says I don’t want her to have him alone because I want control.. no, I just would love for my child to be safe. She doesn’t even have an up to date car seat, she doesn’t know how to buckle him in tight. She puts him in his high chair and walks away while he eats. Please tell me how I’m anyway is this going to make me feel comfortable? He’s ten months old! You can not give him grown ass adult food and walk away from him for him to choke on it. 🤦🏼‍♀️ she’s just so careless & i just don’t think she always needs to have him alone. And the fact she won’t even have dinner with her son, me and our son is just so strange.

Um yeah that wouldn't be ok with me especially throwing a fit cause she gets him one day instead of two, you're his parents so she shouldn't argue with when you say she should have him.
