Yea i never got this months CCB

@ib.crazyskittles18, No as mentioned it’s quarterly it comes every 3 months. It came April 5th and won’t get it again till July 5th.

@beakymcspence i didnt get any gst credit this month, is it supposed to be every month?

The 5th of every 3 month is GST credit. There’s no CTB anywhere it used to be Child tax benefit and Universal Child Care benefit both came on the 20th but now it’s all rolled into one and called the Canada Child benefit it replaced the CTB and UCCB in 2016.

@chadandtanya14, According to their website payment schedule you get your GST on the 5th of the month as well, and your CCB (which now include the UCCB it’s all one) on the 20th so I’m not sure what else your getting on the same day.

@beakymcspence no both the ctb and ccb? I know get is on the 5th every 3 months. It's obviously not part of any child benefit payments which is what we are talking about

@chadandtanya14, Your what? GST? Not sure GST is only issued on the 5th day of the month here.

@chadandtanya14, Ones federal and ones provincial completely different departments of the CRA. CCB is a federal payment, and ACB is a provincial payment. It’s similar to like how they won’t issue GST on the same day🤷‍♀️

@chadandtanya14, I’m originally from BC 🙂 We get Canada Child Benefit on the 18th like you which they’ve combined into one (used to be regular benefit plus the extra $160 for child care) We also get the Alberta child benefit which is quarterly and is on the 25th this month.

@beakymcspence oh probably because I'm in B.C. I get ctb and ccb on the 20th of every month. If the 20th falls on a weekend we get it on a friday

@chadandtanya14, CCB comes on the 18th Alberta’s Child tax benefit comes on the 25th this month.

There are no benefits on their schedule for the 7th and child tax are sticklers for only releasing checks on the specific child tax days, even back payments. I would definitely call the CRA and ask them what you got on the 7th, and ask them if your set up for child tax payments monthly. If your taxes are not up to date then generally you don’t receive, and I believe their cut off for this year is June. My child tax is calculated a bit differently because one of my sons has special needs so receives disability, but you should get their full amount if your single and not working, but if you file your taxes as common law with his father then they can calculate it differently depending on his income.

If you got it then you should get it tomorrow. I would call and make sure everything is set up properly or see what's going on. It doesn't hurt to call and ask 1-800-387-1193 that's Alberta's child tax benefit contact number. I get $533.33 every 20th of the month and you should be as well because your son is under the age of 6 years old

The 7th is a little early for it. How much was the cheuqe you received on the 7th? Not being nosey but trying to see if its about the same anount that child tax benefit would give you. When you did his birth certificate and registration did you also apply for child tax benefit? Some places it's called baby bonus.

@chadandtanya14 i don't know the last two months ive recieved a cheque for something on the 7th but i didnt get one this month

Don't you get child tax benefit? That's every 20th of the month and because the 20th is on Sunday you would get it tomorrow
