For those that are religious..
Do you ask for prayers for every little thing?
I pray for whatever is on my mind and heart, whether it be big or small. Prayer is intimate to me, only for me and God. I don't share what we talk about. If there's something really terrible going on, I'll ask my closest sisters in Christ to pray with me. When two or three come together in prayer in the presence of God, he is there.
I pray for lots of things. Little or big to me it’s all doable for God. But I don’t ask my friends to pray for me for anything except something huge and really rarely at that. I’d be irritated if someone constantly asked for prayers from me for every little thing just because it’s really needy.
I think it's great that she has the willing mind to include God in her daily life no matter what comes her way. I mean whether it be a headache, stomach ache, toothache etc..because yes you should always ask the Lord Jesus to carry you through. I mean I talk to the Lord pretty much throughout the whole day. No matter what I'm doing. I talk about anything and everything because my relationship with God means everything to me...But I will say I think she needs to have more faith in what she's asking of the Lord in general. If your child has a stomach ache and you just asked the Lord to heal his discomfort then believe in what you just asked and have faith that he'll carry him through...because when I trust and truly believe in what I'm saying..it won't come to my mind to ask of others..only the Lord Jesus.
I think there is a difference between praying to yourself and for your own family, and asking others to pray for you over little things constantly. Personally I do pray a decent amount, but I wouldn’t ask other people to pray over my family, for something as simple as a tummy ache.
I understand praying quietly to yourself but I don’t understand making a post asking other people to pray for a stomach ache or driving down the street. She will ask for prayers every little thing in a daily life.
She’s pregnant, her stomach was achy. Asked for prayers.
Driving to work. Asked for prayers.
Her sons stomach hurts. Asks for prayers.
Stubbed her toe on the couch. Asked for prayers.
It’s. All. The. Time. ??
I pray too. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a spiritual person and have a connection with God but it just irks my nerves a little even though it doesn’t hurt or affect me. Lol
I don't ask for duas for everythin.. I do ask ppl to make dua (prayer-Islam) if my kids r sick.
Other than that I generally make dua myself.. and that can range from having a safe journey to making s certain situation easy for me.
If my child had a stomach ache I would make dua for him/her myself.. Ultimately it is only Allah than can heal the sick.
I’m not religious by any means but I find it quite odd that she asks for prayers about the smallest or simple things in life.
I happened to log onto my moms fb to upload a photo for family and I see she asked for prayers for her soon to be 9yr old that he has a stomach ache and only ate 4-5 bites of food at dinner. No fever or any other symptoms.
I'm religious but don't ask for prayers unless it's something serious - and even then it's usually just to close friends and family. I play things pretty close to the chest and am very private about most things.
