I lost my mom to cancer in 2011 also. It was one of the hardest times in my life. To watch her suffer was unbearable. I too took peace in knowing she was not suffering anymore. My prayers go out to you in this horrible time ?

Thank you so much everyone it really means a lot. My mom's battle was very short and the cancer was very aggressive. She had stage 4 lung cancer that spread throughout her bones. Rest in peace mom I miss you and love you!

I lost my mother back in 2001 on my birthday from Colon Cancer. Being 13 my heart shattered. It still is. They got rid of the cancer but at the time technology wasn't as great and there was more they couldn't see. It spread quickly and she lost her battle quickly.

I'm so sorry, my heart breaks all over again for you. My condolences.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My father passed away in 2007 from cancer (among other things). My son is in remission from AML now. Cancer is a horrible thing. Lots of prayers your way.
