HUGE RAVE!
Some of you know that I'm planning on to be a surrogate. The only thing I had left was to be matched.
I'm going to have to be googling these cities. Lol I have no idea where anything is at in California.
@greeneyes, the agency website says its in studio city but mailing address is in tarzana (sp?). I have no idea where these places are lol. I live in Oklahoma so it'll be my first time in California. ?
It's so amazing that things like this happen. It took me a little over a year to fully decide on becoming one.
Let me know if you're going to be one! ❤️❤️
That's awesome and such a wonderful gift to give somebody. where at in California, Im here too.
That's awesome! I wanted to do surrogacy too but they said I needed to have my first child. And then I said to myself, well fine... Guess I'll do neither. And lo and behold a month later I find out I'm pregnant!
I will definitely sign up for surrogacy once my body is ok to have another baby. I'm doin it for people like my mom who lost -a Fallopian tube due to an ectopic pregnancy and even after she still believed in miracles and kept trying... ?
Really? I'm so happy with the choice I made with being a surrogate! I'm really excited about this. ❤️
Good luck to you wth the rest of your pregnancy, pp. ?
Congrats! I'm 37w with my second surrogacy. There is nothing better than watching your IPs with their child for the first time. It's a lengthy process, but definitely worth it!
So thrilled for you ? I know you have been wanting to do this for all the right reasons! Much respect and love to you! ❤
I researched agencies and felt completely comfortable with only 1 of them.
I filled out a questionnaire and an application.
Background checks done.
Paps done and blood drawn.
An "ok" letter from my obgyn saying I'm healthy enough for another pregnancy. Then I just waited to be matched which took about 1 1/2 months.
When his lawyer and him agree to go along with it, I will fly out to California and have their facility run more tests and a bit of counseling. After that, if everything is fine I will go back to California for a transfer hoping for a sticky one.
I was slow about going about it because I put in my application and my questionnaire right before my mom passed away (I didn't get the chance to tell her what I was doing) so I wanted to take time to grieve and be 100% ready for the journey that was going to happen. I turned in everything that needed to be done on my part by the end of January. I received the letter with the OK from my doc March 2nd, so by then and now is how long it took to be matched. ? hope it wasn't confusing lol
Thanks ladies! It took a while and so much thinking to put my foot in the door but I truly feel so blessed doing so.
@kitty what a lovely lady! Pls keep me updated!?
That's so awesome! What selfless thing to do. My manger is finding out this week if the transfer took and if she will be having a baby! It's so exciting.
That's awesome! I'd love to do that, but I don't think I ever could. It definitely takes a special kind of person!
Thank you! I'm definitely super nervous but reading his profile puts me at ease right now. Lol
That is amazing! U are doing a wonderful thing and should be very proud of yourself ?
Thank you! ☺️
I applied last summer around the beginning of July and my matching process took a little over a month.
