My mom needs prayers
If you pray.. My mom and my family really needs them.
I'm very sorry your family is going through this. I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer in December. I understand how hard it is to watch someone you love so much suffer.
The one thing I regret not telling my mom was that it was okay to let go. I'm almost 100% sure she hung on and suffered because she didn't want to us to be in "pain". I wish I would have just said "mom, it's okay to let go" just so she knew it was truly okay for her to stop suffering for us.
If you need someone to talk to, please message me. It's the hardest thing I have ever went through and the only reason I'm still going is because of all of the support I have.
I'm so sorry you are going through this :( friend me if you want - I went through this exact same thing. My mom was my very best friend, couldn't be closer. When I was in my first trimester, we found out she had a very rare cancer and they gave her 6-12 months. She made it 6 months, and passed away 3 weeks after my son was born. I was heartbroken, lost, devastated. It all seems so surreal and the hard part about going through something like this is NOTHING can prepare you for that actual moment they pass. I was strong up to then for my mom and family, I spent as much time with her as possible at the end. I was there every day with my newborn and would just lay with her in bed, even though she was at the point where she couldn't talk. I'd talk to her, I'd be silent, we'd watch her silly soap operas, I'd tell her how much I loved her and that I would be okay, and she could let go now. But nothing prepares you :( honestly OP, do whatever feels best in your heart. Don't let anyone tell you how to grieve. One of the biggest things I took away was not to let other people's ignorant comments upset me (yes, it will happen. "At least you got to say goodbye", "my grandma died she was like my mom I know how you feel", etc.) - I always knew they were coming from a good heart with the best intentions.
I did a lot to honor my mom too. Got involved with relay for life and raised a lot of money for research! Do whatever you need to and take as much time as you need! Luckily for me my newborn was a huge source of strength, having to be strong for someone else who needed me was a blessing. We had the sweetest nursing relationship for 14 months. Honestly, nursing was like therapy for me. You'll find the strength you need to pull through. Don't be afraid to lean on friends and Jesus during this tough time. I prayed, yelled at God, cried to God, etc. he knows my heart and being real with him helped me through a lot.. I felt a lot closer.
Praying for you all ???
I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is so hard, especially to something like cancer that stretches out. That is wonderful though what her last words to you were. Believe me, that will stay in your heart forever.
Thank you so much for prayers!! It's very much appreciated!!
@miley
That was very beautiful! Thank you!
Sorry for your loss. "Absent from the body, now present with Lord" Your mom is now cancer free and watching over you and your family. May God bless you and give you the strength you need.
Sorry for your loss, :( I recently lost my dad. Losing a parent is so hard!
@chelsee~ I am very sorry for your loss. GODS peace, grace and mercy will sustain you. I lost my mother in February of this year due to a long battle that she had with a rare lung disease. She was suffering, on several liters of oxygen and still couldn't breathe. She was high on the lung transplant waiting list however, GOD decided that he wanted her to heal on the other side. Since her death, I have had this PEACE that man will not understand. My advice for you is to pray for peace, grieve when you feel like it, cherish the memories and know that GOD will comfort you in ways that only you will understand. ??
I'm so sorry for your loss. I miss my mom every single day..I'll be praying for you and your family.
I'm so sorry darling. I know exactly how you are feeling. It's really hard. Only time will help. Stay strong and you are definitely in my prayers:(
Im very sorry about your mother, i too lost my mother and i know what you are going through. While you are healing from the loss of a loved one, God will comfort you (2 Corinthians 7:6).
The Bible tells us that God is the father of mercies and that He will comfort us in all our tribulations (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
Be assured that God loves you and that He understands how much you are hurting.
God promises you in Isaiah 43:2 that when you go through deep waters and great trouble, He will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Run to the shelter of the Most High where you will find sweet rest (Psalm 91:1-2).
God has prepared a new home for us where there will be no more death, tears or pain.
I pray you will find some comfort in these verses and God will hold you in his arms as you heal from a broken heart.
God bless
I'm very sorry for your loss. I pray that you will find unexplainable peace during this difficult time.
Losing a loved one is so hard. Cancer is a nasty horrid disease. I don't know what it's like to lose my mum (luckily) but lost dh to it a few years ago. Left me with 3 small babies who all miss their dad. I felt guilty as I was relieved - the release for him was there.
Stay strong she loved you and knows she will always be loved by you.
It's ok to have mixed emotions and you'll be numb for a while took me a month to realize I didn't need to cook that extra meal, didn't have someone to answer the phone when I needed help and he wasn't with me.
Be prepared for it to hit you when you least expect it - shopping and when it's time to buy presents - I put my hand up I brought him a present and then remembered he wouldn't be able to open it.
It's all normal. Hopefully you are a close family and they can give you amazing support
Hugs and prayers at this very difficult time
I'm so sorry. That must be extremely difficult. My prayers are with u and ur family

Are mom friends a must when you are a new mom? What about a seasoned mom? The short answer is yes, you do need mom friends.
Terrible 2's and 3's!
My services have been requested. This is for the moms of toddlers. You are not alone! If you are struggling with tantrums and acting out then chances are your child is needing attention, not punishment. There are lots of different things that can trigger a meltdown, but the root cause is typically the same.
I really don't understand the judgment between being a working mom or a stay at home mom. If you need to work, work. If not, don't. No need to degrade other women for doing the opposite of you. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

So my mom bought this head and body support for my baby but it just seems so tight on there anyone know what's it's for? Do I really need it? Lol FTM

Moms,
