I would try it natural if you can
Most women say c sections are very hard on their bodies

I just had a c section 2 weeks ago and I was in shock the entire time it was not what I wanted; currently I can’t use my stairs in my house so I’m stuck upstairs in my bedroom 24/7 having to ask other people to bring me food and do laundry and such.. my baby is about the only thing I can pick up and even that hurts sometimes bending and getting her out of her crib or changing her.. I hate it and I wish I could of delivered naturally and vaginal. Plus I can’t exercise or even start to get into shape for another 5 weeks the doctor says which is making me depressed.

You won’t be able to pick up your 10 month old for 2 months either. You need to take it all into consideration. I had my boys 13 months apart. My youngest was breeched and they couldn’t turn him in the end. So I had to have a c section.

Avoid it avoid it avoid it! I have had both. I would take natural 10x over and over again. C section made me never want kids again

@destineemh, as soon as I found out I was pregnant with my second we started planning a c section from the beginning. It definitely is nerve reckoning though. I was really well prepared for mine so that helped.

@daniellevonkotz, I Had A Bad Experience To With My V Birth Which Is Why I’m Kinda Leaning Towards A C Section.. I’ve Just Been So Nervous

I have done it both ways and I would choose a c section over vaginal birth. This is my opinion though and I also had a very traumatic v birth. I had my c section and laid in bed most of the day but got up and moving when she said. It’s hard at first but keep up with it because it will make it better. By the next morning I was up and walking with out a problem.

I didn't have a bad recovery, it actually wasn't nearly as bad as I expected, provided I didn't try to deep clean, carry full laundry baskets, or anything super strenuous, but I have no other children.

Don’t do it. I’ve had both. And I wouldn’t wish a c section on my worst enemy.

Yeah, you're completely numb during it, just feel pressure and hear things. There's pain meds for afterwards, but you really do need to take it easy for a few weeks so I'm not sure how you'd do that with a 10m old. You'd need lots of helpers, haha.

It didn’t hurt at all during the actual surgery. Just a lot of pressure when they push down to get the baby out. Afterward, the first day was the worst but slowly got better. Just stay on top of your meds. If you wait too long between doses, the pain is harder to manage. Oh, and buy the softest, highest rise granny panties you can find!

Mine for me hurt superman bad. And I wish I would've never had it but I did it for my son and that's all that matters. Would I do it again, if there were options, no! But I hope the best for you and your baby! Prayers! 😊 Please keep us posted!

It feels like what it is! It’s a surgery so the healing time does take a little longer, i honestly felt better after 1 week with my first and a week in a half with my second. I’ll let you know after my 3rd... if you have the option of doing natural, go natural. If it’s inevitable then do the section but you should always try the natural way first, it maybe take longer but it’s better on your body.

Ive only had c sections so i cant compare the 2 but for me, my c sections were easy ( i dont kno any differnt tho) i think the biggest things that helped in recovery was having a higher pain tolerance, positive mind set, and getting up and moving as soon as humanly possible, recovery time definatly takes longer and theres alot more restrictions and care that go along with it.. Tbh id def try to go vaginal before jumping to a c section because it is a major surgery

If you don't need one don't do it. I've had 3 and it hurts a lot. From laying down to standing up and moving. If you need one then you can't help it.
