Hey ladies, I've just learned that my 5 week old baby as an umbilical hernia by his doctor. Doctor said its fine and should go away on its own. Also, that i shouldn't worry about it. But, im concerned and as a mother of course!!! And I'm like okay it's not normal so i can't just forget about it. I've never experienced this with my other children. I'm worried if it hurts and is it uncomfortable?? Even though the doctor said no i cant help to think that its not. Has anyone experienced this with their child and can give me some info on anything i can do to help it heal let me know. I'm not asking for medical advice, just tips to comfort my baby through this from moms who experienced or know anyone who experienced it.
@raquely thanks for the info. Doctor told me the same just leave it alone, if needed surgery will be done @ age 5. I'm glad it doesn't hurt.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Lily had a small one that did go away on its own. It's okay and it doesn't cause pain.
