Just stick witu the bottle and just breastfeed and pump what you can. Any breast milk is still good. Good on you for keeping at it, don't get down on yourself about it at least your still trying. And if you end up stopping breast feeding there's nothing wrong with that either. I'm mixed feeding as me and baby are not having the greatest experience with the breast, but I'm just going to give him what I can. What works for one isn't going to work for another. Your doing a great job!

Your body will only produce as much milk as your taking as in if you pump or feed every 12 hours that’s all your body will think you need . You have to do it more to get more there’s no other way.
It seems like bottle might be a better option for you and there’s nothing wrong with that .

@lykinsamanda oh okay. Sorry i didnt realize my question seemed so rude until i just reread it. I was just wondwring what was stopping you from feeding or,pumping at night. I would just say IF you want to keep trying just pump whenever you can even if its not as often as should be. BF didnt work out for me, i was miserable and so was my son. So we stopped and everything got much better. Its all what works for you, not what others say is best. You tried! Thats all you can do

@lykinsamanda your employer legally has to give you time and an approprite place to pump. And why do you not have time at night?

I agree with what @koshadillz, said. Also drink lots of water. Some swear by Gatorade also. You can try making location cookies and stuff like that.

You're npt supposed to wait that long to pump. You shpuld be pumpin more frequently to increase supply. Its a supply and demand thing. The more the pump or baby sucks for mill, it send a signal to your body to produce more. You should be pumping every 2-4 hours or after you feed baby. You can also power pump and take suppliments to help
pumping is a tough job -____- hope linn g do you mommies pump for? ??
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
Government Assistance and Breast Pump Is there any mommy's on here that used to be or is on Government Assistance? And knows if they cover breast pumps?
My stash!! I'm super pumped
Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.

1. Stay well hydrated
2. Pump right after nursing, remember the baby is more efficient than the pump.
3. Pump the same time every day when you don't nurse, it signals to your body to produce milk.
Hopefully that helps, good luck.
