Ughhh my MIL, BIL and SIL are coming down this weekend. It’s the first they’ve been to our house since we bought it. Almost a year ago. And my in laws are not nice people. They’re dramatic, judgemental, rude AF. My mil is so crazy she talks so much shit about everyone and turns everyone against each other. My
BIL is just so freakin miserable. My SIL will argue that the sky is green just to argue. And their children.. don’t even get me started. Their parents have never paid much attention to them and they’re always in the care of someone else so you can just imagine.. that’s why we moved 4 hours away. I’m absolutely dreading this. When we lived in the same town as them I was miserable and depressed. Life has been good since we moved.. I know it’s only one weekend but HOW am I going to get through this!!

@mimixtmn, it’s to bad we feel that way about family. But I’ve tried, for 7 years lol I tried to ignore the gossip and the drama but they grew up in a small town and as far as they’re concerned nothing outside the town is worth knowing about.
If you mush them all together they make my brother 🙄.. I cannot stand him if you do things different then him you are wrong and his life is so perfect and great and everyone should follow 😑.. I only spend a couple hours at a time around him thank god he lives 10 hours away. It sucks because we used to be super close our whole lives until he moved 10 hours away to live in his gfs hometown and morphed into this weirdo lol.
I feel you girl. We don’t associate much with my husbands brother or his gf...she’s a drunk and caused a huge scene at my hubs birthday last year. I actually refer to her as swamp donkey 🙄 (not to her face of course) I’m sending you tons of positive vibes and hopefully it goes well🤞🏻

Lol sounds like my in laws!! I can only take small doses of them for sure. At least you’ll be at your house so if you need to escape to your room for a while do it lol

...that we're expecting! ? Tonight we were at dinner with my brother and SIL and they just had a baby 4 weeks ago. She said something about babies and DH replies, with such an attitude, "uh no! Never again, we are done!"
MIL moved in - Day 3
So, it's been 3 days since my MIL, BIL, and 91 year old grandmother-in-law moved in to our house due to a house fire. Grandma has been sleeping in the guest room, MIL on a blow up mattress and BIL on the couch in the basement. Last night, DS had a sleepover at a friends house so I ran up the street to drop off clothes. When I came back, DH and MIL were discussing "sleeping arrangements" for BIL. They thought it would he a fantastic idea for him to bunk with my 8 year old so...
Everyone please say a prayer for my family 😭🙏🏼 we just got evacuated from our home because we ordered oil today and the oil company never inspected the tank before dumping like they’re supposed to . 200 gallons of oil in my house , yard , dry well. They’re condemning and bulldozing my house in 72 hours 😭

My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
