Mamas my daughter started doing good with potty training now she won’t let me know if she has to…

@tyshaijames2018, She’s three. The first week or two she was doing pretty good now all of a sudden she is not telling me when she has to potty at all she just does it on her diaper.

@karennn, my son did the exact thing and his pediatrician told me they do that when they feel like they are being pushed! 🤷🏽‍♀️ who knows why they do it? All kids are so different just keep working with her she will get it ❤️

@tyshaijames2018, Thank you! I just keep leaving the potty out and remind her once in a while to let me know if she has too pee pee or poop. But all they do is play and fight over it lol

Have you tried using just underwear

With my son the only thing that worked for us was leaving him with no undies because at first he thought he could go pee in his undies and that was messy lol but he got used to going in the potty and now it feels unnatural to go potty in his pants. It took like 3 months for him to let go of wanting to wear a diaper.

I say try panties, my daughter just turned 3 we have been potty training since 2 and it worked for us plus I bought some gogurts & stickers and every time she went she got to pick eventually she forgot about the surprises and just started going on the potty alone I think since we started we have only had a totally of 3 accidents we started off putting her potty chair outside the room at night with the hall light on then slowly moved it back to the bathroom.

I started potty training my son at 2 and he fully grasped the concept by 2 1/2 ! At first I left the potty in the living room since that’s where he would be at most of the time and if I gave him any juice or water I would sit him down every 30mins or so.... and if he peed I would give him candy! I did the candy thing until the candy bag was gone after that he didn’t get anymore....Then I started leaving his pull up off....underwear didn’t work for me until he was fully potty trained because he just peed or pooped in them like a diaper so because he knew he didn’t have anything on he actually went to the toilet himself once I saw he was using the toilet regularly I put it in the bathroom && he did it on his own ... don’t get me wrong I had accidents ALOT like on my couch or carpet but I just kept cleaning it I knew he was just learning! A little after he turned 3 he learned to use the big toilet and woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom....every child learns at their own pace! She will get it soon ❤️

@taegwaltney95, He’s smart! That’s what I do I leave it on the living room and tell her to let me know and sit her after she eats and drinks. At first she was doing great, Even letting me know she had to use it and actually used it but now she stopped, All she does is try to put toys in it and play with it and fights over it with her brother lol. And it’s not letting me know and when I sit her on it she gets up and runs off

@karennn, thanks girl ❤️ && my son would run off the toilet also he was scared of it even after he been using it for a little while ! He refused too poop in his potty he literally jumped up and would cry .... What helped us a lot was he watched Elmo videos of Elmo using the bathroom ! And there was a little song to go with it we played it literally EVERY time he went on the toilet ... that’s also how he learned too brush his teeth (an Elmo video) .... so when he brushes his teeth now I always sing the song with him and he knows what too do! I think she will get it girl ❤️❤️
