Anyone know Ways to get rid of cradle cap???... dr wants me to scratch it up and put selsun blue on it and leave it on…

@cmjohnson3047, if it doesn’t work right away that’s fine sometimes cradles cal takes a few attempts

Baby oil on a soft toothbrush rub it in let it sit for a few minutes, comb it out, wash and comb out again!

Oh no way there’s no reason to use something harsh like selsun blue!! How old is your DS? You can use baby oil, olive oil.. any oil- then once it’s loosened by the oil you can go at it with a toothbrush or washcloth. If you scratch that off you may hurt his scalp and then putting selsun on that will sting like crazy. You may want to go see a new doc. That’s whack

Coconut oil!! Massage it in, let it sit for 15 minutes, then GENTLY comb it or use your nail. I honestly just put coconut oil in my son’s hair (he had a very mild case) and massaged it for a little while then washed it out. Scratching it off seemed too painful in my opinion, but that’s also what his doctor told me.

rub and massage his head with olive oil or baby oil , leave it for 15 mins & wash his head

I always used eczema lotion and would use baby brush or comb
