I don't know. My first two miscarriages I started bleeding and then it just got heavier. I bled a ton and had thick purple/black clotting so went to the ER. I continued to bleed with heavy cramping for 4 days. I was 6 1/2 weeks according to my lmp. My second I started lightly and just a light red and then it got heavier but stayed bright red. I was only 5 weeks. Probably was a chemical I'll never know. For each time I had my hcg levels tested and then retested and they had dropped. The doctor needs to do hcg level testing for you and monitor they are rising. I am hoping the best for you.

Seems strange! I would definitely ask them to tell you what's going on. Definitely say the second opinion as well!

I didn’t see anything but the sac and yolk at 6x2 at 10/18/17 went back 10/25/17 and was measuring 6x4. I’m now 35x5 and baby girl is healthy as can be. Early pregnancy is weird, and just because your sac is measuring at 6w doesn’t mean you’re actually 6w

@lorany, she did a transvaginal one & I had to pee very badly but I couldn’t see anything. I’m kinda worried.

@jessicasanchez, they do transvaginal up until your I think second trimester. It could just be too early to see anything. Did you see if there was a yolk in the sack?

@lorany, no I couldn’t. Mostly kus I was too focus on not peeing myself. Lol

@jessicasanchez, unfortunately it’s gonna be like that every time you go in for an ultrasound.. with that being said my 20w scan my bladder was actually TOO full to see all of baby girl so I had to pee I was so mad cause I was sitting there for like 45m trying to not pee and the lady was like I need you to pee I can’t see anything. Next time try going in with a half full bladder. But I would definitely get a second opinion. Did you get any pictures?

At six weeks nothing was visible in both my last pregnancies. I was so worried couple weeks later baby had grown. Good luck

@jessicasanchez, oh no.. did they check your tubes?? But if you had a sac that was measuring 6w you saw via transvaginal that means baby made it to your uterus 🤔

@jessicasanchez, the only way you’d have an ectopic pregnancy is if you conceived twins from two different eggs. Odds are if that’s the case baby that implanted in your uterus has very good chance of surviving if you have to have surgery!

@lorany, they didn’t check my tubes. I’m waiting a couple more weeks before I make any decision. They wanted to give me a shot but I refused. I rather be on the safe side than miscarry a healthy baby

@jessicasanchez, oh yeah for sure. I would go back in a week for them to check and see if there’s anything else other than the sac. But also keep an eye out for any pelvic pain (can be caused by ectopic) because if that’s the case you need to go to the hospital so they can remove your tube so it doesn’t burst.
