Its definitely hard. Me and my bd have a decent friend relationship but he still gets upset that Im moving on because he isnt. Thats really the only barrier between us. We were always better off as friends. A 5 year marriage and 1 year separated proved it 💁
You recognize any sexual or romantic relationship is over, and make it all about the child. Easy if you've both moved on from the relationship. I imagine it'd be hard if either of us still had anger or feelings toward each other.
