So much daughter is crawling all over the place and exploring everywhere she shouldnt. My question is how do you get them to not get into the dog food? I have 2 big dogs that we have always free fed. They're pretty slow eaters. And she has tried playing in their water bowls before but just recently noticed the food. I can't lock the gate because then my dogs can't reach their food and water, but I can't watch her every single move. I know dog food is safe to eat but I'd rather not have to feed 2 dogs and a baby at $55 a bag. Haha

There's not really a spot in my house that the baby can't get to. I currently have it in the kitchen where there is a baby gate. But the dogs could have the same bowl of food for a day and a half. And other times one or both scarfs it down in minutes.
I had to start putting the dog food on the back deck
I had a daughter who refused to stay away too lol had to move the dog food to the bathroom which was probably inconvenient but every time I stopped watching she’d dart off too it and next thing you know brown drool coming out of her mouth with a big grin 😑. That stubbornness does not change I’m afraid to say!! She’s clever with words now at 3 and always knows just the right thing to say. . . Positive note: she is reading at 3 and still alive!! So dog food didn’t kill brain cells or the girl! Best of luck.
