Getting the Nexplanon put in on Friday, I hope this is the right decision. Super nervous after the Mirena failed
@mamabird228, alot of ppl tell me that too unless you guys where natural births and ya made it to full centimeters. I was healed up fine, took me four months for that appointment because my primary obgyn only did the pills. Her hands make me consider depo lol
@mamabird228 Its was awful, just from the insertion they dilate u and i had a C-section i only got to 5cm in 22hrs. So she was there getting me to six and tried like five times to pit the mirena in. Then it was unbelievable pains that felt like contractions, super bleeding and then i felt the string out of my va’j’j. The iud was put in incorrect 4-5 days paranoid about a infection
@breediddy13, Haha its her hands of me picturing it all.. :(
@mamabird228, damnn well i hope you find something natural out there that helps
@lnkedupmommy, yeah I didn’t mean to scare you or anything but honestly the nexplanon was ridiculous. My body hated it
@mamabird228, cancer runs in both sides of my family sooo bad so every time I go outside I’m putting on 30 lbs of sunscreen. But I absolutely love being outside
@breediddy13, Im really thinking twice about it now because the obgyn doing it isnt my primary doc and she isnt so good w her hands shitt last experience dealing w the mirena was w her
@mamabird228, they are soo debilitating. I puke, everything goes numb, and I feel either super hot and sweaty or freezing cold. Even my freaking teeth tingle (which is the weirdest feeling ever). And man I’m sorry, being in pain almost constantly is so rough. Girl I eat like a 300 lb man without medication. 😂 I really need to look into appetite suppressants so maybe I’ll stop with the constant stress eating! Lol
@mamabird228, shit my homegirl be going threw it too with that.. is anything helping you besides meds home remedies?
@mamabird228, makes our pull out game stronger though 😂😂 but honestly I’m okay with it. I’ve been slowly trying to be all natural with what I put into my body because I’m also a chronic migraine sufferer and have a ton of triggers for them as well. And oh man, I’m sorry! I heard psoriasis is painful. 😓
@mamabird228, the pill made
me sick too. 😰 but I do have a hormonal imbalance and I think the hormones in everything sends my body off kilter. 😓
@lnkedupmommy, I honestly don’t take anything now because I haven’t found a birth control that doesn’t mess with me in a negative way. 😓 sorry I can’t be any help!
@breediddy13, yeah them taking it out scares me.. what u taking now?
@mamabird228, yess the fishing out it was im getting wierddd about the pain, so easy put it but looks crazy coming out, im considering the shots every three months
@lnkedupmommy, it was making me incredibly sick. I felt nauseous all the time, constant breast tenderness, crazy periods, tons of stuff. And when they went to remove it they had to literally cut it out of me instead of pulling it out through an incision because scar tissue grew around it so bad. I’ve also been reading it’s been moving from peoples arms and going into their hearts snd crazy things like that too.
@taylorc, Yeah i think the weight gain varies but all these symptoms do really apply for all bc, but just like hearing ppls good things about trying a new bc is what hppned to me w the Mirena, pshh terrible experience.
@busymom_lovinlife, Oh, no medications for me I cant even remember to take them lol the pill would of been easy then
@lnkedupmommy that was my only issue with it was the weight gain, my cousin has it and didn't gain any weight and no issues with her period or anything lol. Right now nothing because I have to wait for my 6 week check up lol but that's next week and I will be using the patch I've used it since I started birth control and ever had any issues I switched because of my cousins recommendation buttt it didn't work lol sooo patch it is
@lnkedupmommy just the emotional side of it that I noticed. It negatively affected me and made me depressed but they have medication for that lol
@taylorc, Because of the 14pounds or any other reasons? What u using now?
@dazzlingmommy, @tayler, @busymom_lovinlife, @kelseychapman13, I dont mind the weight gain i can handle that, the bleeding i think ama bleed forever at the beginning and them itll be irregular. Any other symptoms?
@mamabird228, @breediddy13, why remove it?
I have had mine for going on 2 years and I love it other than the going almost a year with constant bleeding and now it just really itches and I hardly ever have a period on when I do it only last a day or 2.
I had it twice worked great at preventing pregnancy. Just know that you may have a long period at first. After 6 months of nonstop bleeding literally everyday they found that I had a polyp and 10cm uncycled tissue in my uterus that had to be removed. It really is a great birth control and I would have kept it in if it didn't cause me to get polyps and have tissue stuck in my uterus idk how that even happens lol.
It's not bad for everyone. I had it for many years. It worked great. I had a long period when i first got it and they were irregular after that but I rarely ever had one. Only thing I didn't like was that it made me moody lol but that's all birth control with me! And I found it easier to lose weight when I had the implant
I’ve had mine in for a year and a half now and everything has been great except my periods were off. It took about a year for it to go back to normal. But other than that, no other symptoms!
My niece had one but it made her bleed nonstop so she had to have it removed
I had to remove mine shortly after getting it! Good luck!!
I had it and it worked great only problem I had was I gained like 14 pounds in two months. So I took it out lol
Ive been considering the copper Paragard implant. Very weary 😕
@mamabird228, i know im getting really annoyed myself tryna resolve for a birth control ughhh
